Chapter 3

Billie's P.O.V. 

I tried to get Lila's words out of my head because I can't seem to focus on what people are saying to me. Finneas looked at me and said, "Billie u okay?" I snapped out of my trance and looked up at him. "Yeah. I'm fine I'm just thinking." He continued looking at me for a minute before he returned his attention to the twins. I then went to Lila and said, "Hey I know you have school this week but do you wanna go to the movies Friday?" A smile grew on her face but I couldn't read it. "Sure. But can Scarlet come? She's my ride and my mom isn't really comfortable letting me go places if scarlet doesn't go with me." I wanted it to just be us but I said okay anyway. I know scarlet was her best friend and all but I didn't like the way she hung on to Lila like a leech. I wasn't certain but if I knew any better scarlet liked Lila. The idea made me smile to myself because I had competition. I saw Lila get up and walk over to where scarlet was and I tried hard not to stare. I noticed Finneas caught be looking and snickered. I felt a little embarrassed. Why did he have to be in my business so much?

Lila's P.O.V.

I went over to sit next to Scarlet and I told her about what billie and I were talking about. She just said ok and then she started looking at something or someone then she got up and walked away. I was completely puzzled but then twins came to ask me questions.

Scarlet's P.O.V.

As I'm talking to Lila I notice Billie go into the kitchen. I walk away to follow her because I had a few words for her. She's getting some water when I walk in. She sees me and she says, "Hey, you want some?" I look at her sternly and say, "Whatever you're thinking is gonna happen with you and Lila stop thinking it. Lila is not into girls and she's not into so stop trying." She looked me up and down and smirked. She then said, "Why? You don't want Lila to be happy or are you just jealous we're getting closer and closer?" As she said this she was walking toward me and then she walked away. I was so annoyed. I wanted to smack the smirk off her face. I went back to sit down and I gave her a death stare. She just smiled and continued talking to Claudia. The rest of the afternoon went smooth and Lila decided we should go around 7 pm. We had school the next day and plus she said she was tired. I left out first and got into my car. I watched as billie gave Lila a hug and she saw me looking so she attempted to go lower down her back. Ugh I swear she gets under my skin. She almost reached her behind when Lila pulled away. She started coming towards the car and honestly I didn't wanna talk to her I just wanted to go home.

Lila's P.O.V.

I pulled away as billie was feeling her way to my ass. I wasn't comfortable with her like that. I told her bye and I'll see her Friday. I walked away and got into the car and I could tell Scarlet was irritated. I said, "What's wrong Scar?" She didn't even look at me she just drove off and said, "Can we not talk? Please?" I said, "Fine." in an annoyed tone. When we got home I got out of the car and told scarlet I'll see her tmr. She didn't even wait for me she just drove off. My mom was waiting at the door when I got there and she said, "Hey. If everything all right?" "Yea everything's fine Scar's just having a moment." I told my mom goodnight and I went up to my room. After I put on some leggings and this old crop top and got into bed. I grabbed my phone and decided to text scarlet.

Me: Hey Scar. Can u pls tell me what's wrong with u?

Bsf: I'm fine I got need some rest. Gn

Me: Gn ig.

That was weird but forget about her. I texted billie.

Me: Hey bils wyd

Billie: Hey. nun thinking about u

Me: oh. um do you know what's wrong with scarlet

Billie: :) We just had a talk

Me: what abt

Billie: nothing important just get some rest. see u friday. love ya;)

Me: love u too? byee

Okay that was weird too but I just wanted to get this week over with. I fell asleep after watching some youtube for a while.

*Time Skip* Friday  2:15pm

It was finally Friday and almost time to go to the movies with billie. I just got out of school a little while ago since we have half days on Friday. I already told my mom I was going out and she gave me the ok so I was currently getting ready. I wore a plaid skirt (it wasn't fitted) with this black strapless crop top. I let my hair down and put on masscara and lip gloss. I decided to wear my white ones. Scarlet hasn't been talking to me all week until today. It was 2:37 when scarlet arrived. We were supposed to be at the movies at 3pm but I could tell we were gonna be a little late. We made it there at 3:10 and I could already see billie in the line for the snacks. I snuck up behind her and I laughed because I could tell I really scared her. She turned around and gave me a hug while saying, "Omgg hey. You scared me. But I missed you." "I missed too." I turned around just in time to see scarlet roll her eyes. That annoyed me but we all grabbed the snacks and went to our room. We was seeing this new scary movie called"Freaky". I liked scary scary movies but they weren't my first choice. When we got seated Scarlet said, "Billie, why didn't you bring anybody?" Billie smirked and said, "I didn't want to is that a problem?" Scarlet just smiled and sat down. About twenty minutes into the movie scarlet said she needed to go to the bathroom. When she left billie looked at me with wild eyes and a smirk. I smiled and said, "Whatt?" She shook her head and said nothing. Seconds later I see billie's hand creep up by leg and I looked up at her but she wasn't looking at me. WTF?? I was freaking out. She just went up and down and it sent chills up my spine. Did I like it? IDK. I didn't stop her. She reached my middle and I looked at her but she was still watching the movie. I shuffled in my seat a little. Did I want her to reach the goal? What is going on?
