Shatter (Bnha x Male oc)

9: Are You There? Part 2

The pair watched in horror as Thirteen's body hit the ground. These villains defeated a pro hero and Midoriya's group was running right towards them. From where the two were hiding they couldn't see Aizawa or any more of their classmates. 

"What do we do?" Nao mumbled, panic lacing his tone. If he could just get close enough. If he could just get within 12 feet of whatever that monster was, he could squish and break its arms. He could end this as long as he didn't get hurt. He could-

"We need a plan before we do anything foolish." Todoroki said, breaking him out of the spiral. Nao nodded meekly and followed his classmate towards the hand covered man. He seemed to be approaching and shouting at Midoriya. With every step the man took towards his friend Nao only got more nervous. "We should run to get help, we can't help them like this-". 

The two watched in horror as the hand man reached out for Tsuyu's face. It was the same position as the bully had grabbed Nao's face but somehow it seemed so much worse. He quickly rushed out of the underbrush and Todoroki failed to grab his jumpsuit in time. 

Nothing happened to her and all eyes turned to Aizawa who was being held down by the monster with his face covered in blood. Nao was scared. He was really really scared of what this man could do to his friends. So naturally he jumped in his way. 

"You brat!" Shigaraki seethed, stumbling back from Nao's kick. Ignoring the lavender haired teen he jumped for Tsuyu again but as she jumped away Nao created a bubble around Shigaraki and himself. It didn't even last a minute before being disintegrated. Nao could feel tears prick in his eyes out of fear but trudged on as Midoriya almost landed a hit. 

The hand man called the 'nomu' over to attack Midoriya and as his friend squared up against the monster Nao took his opportunity. Trying the same strategy he put a forcefield around himself and the scrawny villain. This time though, the hand man didn't disintegrate it. 

"What a pointless quirk! Now you're trapped in here with me." The villain laughed. The forcefield clouded over more as Nao began to shake. Hand man rushed at him and Nao barely managed to get out of his grip. The man nearly broke the bubble but stopped himself. He could cause much more damage to Nao inside anyways. 

On the outside Todoroki was defending the others from a few more minor villains that had been knocked out. Iida had gone for help already according to Tsuyu and Aizawa had been incapacitated by the Nomu who's attentions were now on Midoriya. All they could do now was damage control to give Nao and Midoriya the best chances of coming out of their fights alive.

As Nao attempted to kick the man he now knew as Shigaraki, he had his shoe and part of his foot disintegrated. It hurt like hell and he got dirt in the wound the moment he hit the ground. He was getting desperate now. 

Even through the glowing cloudiness of the energy field he could tell the battle against the Nomu was still raging on. If he could keep Shigaraki interested in him long enough for someone to get help, no one would get hurt. 

"Stop squirming around! Your beloved teachers aren't coming. All communication is blocked off!" Shigaraki gloated. Nao gritted his teeth, wishing he had a support weapon right about now. Shigaraki wasn't relying on a weapon he could crush and as he had just learned hand to hand combat wasn't an option. If Shigaraki could grab him he'd be dust. "You're not even my goal! I'm just toying with you!".

Nao struggled to stand on his injured foot as Shigaraki approached him. "Its a shame All Might isn't here, but we can get him another time. Right now showing him he can't protect a future bullshit hero would show the world the symbol of peace has grown weak!".
