Ayaka's POV:
Ever since that fateful day, Akashi and I have been playing shogi together at the shogi center. He became my first friend and I treasured every moment with him. He opened up to me about his life once we got closer. I learned that his dad was a pretty harsh guy and that his mom passed away. He knows the pain that I've endured for ten years. We were in the middle of playing a game of shogi when I asked,
"Hey Akashi, do you anything else in your free time besides shogi?"He responded, "I play basketball."
My eyes sparkled. I then proceeded to say, "Really?! Sei-kun is so coooooool!!"
His eyebrows lifted up.
He then asked, "Sei-kun?"
I answered, "Yup! That's your new nickname!"
At first he was going to protest, but later gave up because he knows how persistent I am.
"Anyway, what do you do in your free time?" Akashi asked me.
"Well, for one, I am a hardcore manga collector. I especially love romance manga. Ooh ooh, but I love action too! I also-" I was cut off by an annoyed Sei-kun.
"Forget I asked." He said.
"Awwww come on Sei-Kun! You were the one that asked me!" I responded.
"You do make a valid point, but no." Sei-Kun said.
"No fair!" I retorted.
It was always fun talking to Sei-kun. He was different from anybody I've ever met (even though I don't know many people).
I'm glad I met him.
