From Past to Present (Akashi x OC)

Erase

Ayaka's POV:
"Have you heard, Sei-kun?" I asked.

"Hmm?" He seemingly questioned.

"Seirin has been on a role lately. They've beat Ryo-kun's team in a practice match and Shin-kun's team in an actual match!" I told him.

I remember going to Shin-kun's game and watching it. I snuck out without Sei-kun knowing (but he probably knew anyway and I'm probably going to be punished soon).
After the game I went to find Shin-kun and found him crying outside. I felt bad and instead of teasing him, I allowed him to talk about OhAsa for an hour. My poor soul. Though I guess it was all worth it in the end since the the carrot cheered up.

"I have. Tetsuya seems to be on a role. I wonder how long their "winning streak" will last." Sei-kun commented.

"Wah! It's almost 3:00! Wanna go see the game between Kaijo and Touou. It's a match to see!" I suggested. Hopefully he'll want to come or else I'm gonna sneak out again.

"No." He flat out said.

"You're no fun Sei-kun!" I complained.

"If you're going, you should go with someone." He said.

"Come on Sei-kun I'm not a little girl anymore! I'm a lady now!" I said.

"Yeah, for a lady, you sure don't act like one." He smirked.

"Hmph! That's no way to treat your girlfriend!" I pouted.

"Really?" I was taken back by his response.

He nodded.

By the time we arrived, there were many people already there. However, all that was filled in my mind was Aokise.

I got in to see the game had already started.

"So Dai-kun showed up on time for this game? He better if he's playing against his boyfriend." I said while talking to myself.

Sei-kun sighed.

"Not every guy you see is homosexual, Ayaka." He lectured.

When we arrived, the game had already started. Ryo-kun has always looked up to Dai-kun, so I wonder how this match was going to turn out.

Wow! Ryo-kun already seems to have copied Dai-kun's moves! Although they're not exactly the same, Ryo-kun will probably be able to improve throughout the game. He isn't one of the generation of miracles for nothing.

By halftime, I went to go get a drink at the vending machine.

"Ayaka Hayashi." A voice from behind me spoke.

I turned around to see a man in a suit and a pair of sunglasses.

"Don't tell me you're another one of Sei-kun's bodyguards. I thought his father gave the threats a rest." I scoffed.

"Mr. Akashi has ordered me to tell you stop interfering with Akashi Seijuro's life."

"And what happens if I choose not to follow his orders?"

"Then we'll not only kick you out of Rakuzan, we'll also make sure your old shogi place doesn't exist anymore." He said as if it were the most normal thing on the planet.

"You wouldn't dare! You don't have the authority to!" I ended up screaming. I was furious! Just because I'm poor doesn't mean someone can take advantage of me!

"You'll be surprised what Mr. Akashi can do. Please don't interact with Akashi Seijuro. We've given you a new dorm to live in that's far away from Akashi Seijuro." He ordered. How? They already planned this all out?

"Why? Why are you all doing this? What have I even done? Sei-kun isn't just someone I can just erase out of my life so easily!" I was near tears. Strange. I don't usually cry this easily.

"You've interfered with Akashi Seijuro's studies enough. Besides, Mr. Akashi has already planned Akashi Seijuro's marriage with a young woman with clearly more class than the likes of you. I'm afraid that's all. By the way, we have people in the school who'll see if you interact with Akashi Seijuro, so if we catch you, you know the consequences." He walked away as if nothing ever happened.

I can't just erase Sei-kun like that! We haven't even been together for that long! I hit the wall in frustration.

As much as I wanted to watch the game, I couldn't. Orders were orders and I can't see Sei-kun anymore.

I walk out of the stadium and back towards Rakuzan. The stupid man in a suit told me where I'd be living from now on. Tears were rolling down my cheeks.

Well then. I suck at writing angsty kind of stuff so please don't be too hard on me for my writing T__T But more importantly, KNB IS OVER!! IM SO SAD!!! NO MORE DORKY BASKETBALL PLAYERS ANYMORE!!! But there prob is still going to be a whole lot of fanfics. The legacy lives on!
