From Past to Present (Akashi x OC)

Festival

I just love that Hyuuga face. Lol Kuroko's blue hair just sticking out. And then there's Kiyoshi looking unfazed.

Ayaka's POV:
Today, being Tuesday, was my day off. It was also the day of the festival near our school. Sei-kun said that we can go! I happily surprised by his answer. He's so sweet at times~

"So Ayaka-chan, you're going to the festival with Akashi, right?" Buchi-kun asked while smirking. I knew he was up to no good.

"And why would you want to know?" I asked him.

"Hehe so you are! Just so you know, I fully support you two in-"

"Stop!" I yell. We go through this literally everyday. He makes fun of me, I smack him in the face. Don't worry though, it's all in good fun.

We went into the gym. Today's the day Rakuzan has basketball practice.

"Hello everyone! As all of you know, the Interhigh is coming soon. I expect everyone to be doing their best during practice, is that clear?" I lecture.

"Yes Ayaka-san!" They all say.

"I feel so loved!" I say. They all start sweat dropping on me. What, can't a girl have emotions?

Our coach came into the gym. He kind of looked like a skunk (no offense to him. I have nothing against skunks).
He seemed like a very serious and stern man. He took a seat and simply observed us, specifically me. Creep.

"According to the schedule I have hear, next week we'll have a practice game against Sei Ho High School. I hope you all are ready! Dismissed!" They all left.

Buchi-kun came over to me and whispered, "Have fun on your date tonight with Akashi!" then ran away.

I swear, one day I'm going to kill him. Him and his stupid, tall self.

"Sei-kun, you ready to-" I was cut off by the coach.

"I don't think that having a female as a manager is very befitting, is it?" He said.

I was outraged. How dare he say that IN FRONT OF MY FACE!

"How. Dare. YOU! Sexist bastard. I WILL FREAKING-"

"Shirogane-san, I assure you that I specifically chose Ayaka as the manager for our team. I hope you'll learn to respect my decision." Sei-kun said as calmly as possible. He seemed pretty pissed, but was good at concealing it.

"Very well then, if you happen to have second thoughts-" Coach was interrupted.

"I won't." Sei-kun concluded.

He left. That bastard. Now I have more people to hate here at this stuck up school.

"Thank you Sei-kun." I said.

"The moment he walked into the gym, I knew he was going to cause trouble." He knowingly said.

"Sei-kun is absolute!" I said while laughing. He had a slight smile on his face.

When we got back to the dorm, I laid back on my bed.

"AHHH I'm so tired! I wanna go to sleep." I complained.

"Get up, we're going shopping." He ordered.

"For more manga?!" I said excitedly.

"No, for your kimono for the festival." He casually replied.

"W-Wait! I don't want a kimono! I can just go in a pair of sweat pants and a t-shirt!" I argued.

"This is a formal festival, you need to wear something more 'appropriate'. No questions." He annoyingly said.

"Ugh! Fine!" I have in to his stupid orders. I despise dresses and skirts soooooo much.

At the shop

"Don't make this more difficult than it should be, Ayaka." Sei-kun said.

"But I don't know what to wear! I don't think I've ever worn a dress in my life!" I defended myself.

He grabbed 10 random kimonos and gave them to me.

"Try these on." He commanded.

I came out, dress by dress. Once it came to the last one, Sei-kun looked shocked. I couldn't really tell if it was a good thing or not.

"Do you like it?" I asked nervously.

"I think you you should get that one." Well, I guess he liked it. I liked the fact that Sei-kun was doing all the work.

"Sei-kun stop! I am paying for the dress!" I angrily said.

"I already payed in advance." That Baka outsmarted me.

Sigh.

We got back and I started to get ready. Before we got home, Sei-kun made me go to a stupid hairdresser and and make-up shops to make me look more "presentable". I think I look fine the way I am thank you very much!

"We're going now." He announced. Going to the festival was something I fully regret due to the fact that I have to have all THIS on me. I hate that I look so feminine right now.

Once we arrived, it was already dark outside. There's so many things to do like hitting a target using darts, fishing, and of course, eating food.

I practically dragged Sei-kun to do all the activities. He didn't complain, though, so that was a good thing.

"OOH look there's grilled fish! Can we get some?" I asked childishly.

"Sure." He said while chuckling.

By the end of the festival, Sei-kun suggested that we take a walk around the lake.

It was so beautiful at night. I could see the moon's reflection in the water. It was peaceful. No words were exchanged between the two of us. I started to blush because I was thinking about how Sei-kun and I were all alone.

"Ayaka." Sei-kun suddenly said.

"Y-Yes Sei-kun?" I responded.

"I think I've fallen in love with you."

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH IT'S FINALLY ANNOUNCED! THE MOMENT YOU'VE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR IS HERE! HAHAHAHA I LEFT YOU ALL WITH A CLIFFHANGER! Caps lock off. Anyway, it took me a while to think of how Sei-kun will confess, and I finally did it! THX for reading. I love y'all <3
