Hello everyone! I'm back! I have returned from my great journey of school! Anyway, I wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone and anyone who actually reads this story. I never knew I'd actually get this far. I had the idea of this fanfic in my head for quite a while, but I was always too afraid to write (IK I spelled "write" as "right; I'm so stupid) it down. Thank you all boosting my confidence! I hope you all enjoy what is to come!
Ayaka's POV:
"Car wash! Get your car washed for cheap!" I yelled into the busy street. Car washes are not like how they are in the movies. You have to walk in squishy waterproof shoes. You also have to where rubber clothing. Also, there are no girls wearing bikinis, just hard labor in the burning hot sun."Phew! Another car washed! Only 20 more to go!" Despite my laziness, I consider myself pretty hardworking. Maybe that's why I have 4 jobs in my first year of high school. Maybe that's why...
At lunch break, I get my bento box lunch that I made for myself this morning. I'm starving. I'm about to dig in when-
"Mhmmm. This tastes pretty good. Well, your food usually tastes pretty good anyway." A voice says, grabbing my food.
"DAI-KUN!!!!!!!!" I yell. I then proceed to punch him in the face. That idiot. Did he have to wash at least 30 cars for 5 hours straight? NO! Does he even work? NO! Basketball is not a job, at least not yet...
"That might leave a bruise." He says. Such a jerk.
"Sorry about Dai-chan, Ayaka! He can be pretty annoying at times. I would know." Momoi said.
"It's not your fault, Momoi. Although, I think you need to put him on a leash." I chuckled. She did so as well.
"Hey!" He replied.
"Anyway, what're you guys doing here?" I asked.
"Uh, we were just walking by-" Dai-kun said.
"If by "walking by" you mean buying Horikita Mai magazines, then yes, we were just "walking by"." Momoi explained.
I laughed.
"Tsk." Aomine grunted.
"Nice get up you have there." Momoi complimented, sarcastically.
"Oh ya this." I pointed to my "uniform".
"It's burning hot outside and I have to wear this!" I complained. "Well, at least I get payed." I continued.
"I'm sorry we can't stay longer Ayaka! We have practice today, and I bribed Dai-chan into it by using Horikita Mai magazines." Momoi-chan sympathetically said.
"It's alright! Have fun you two!" I said.
"Bye!" She replied.
After I finished my shift, it was pretty dark outside. I had a gut feeling that Sei-kun was going to show up.
I waited.
.................................
And waited.
.................................
And waited.
.................................
He never showed up. I was pretty disappointed. Stop being selfish, Ayaka, Sei-kun has a life of his own too yaknow. I walked home a little depressed. It was lonely. The walk back home was pretty far from where I worked. Sigh. It's like how I felt when I was little. Alone. But now I have Sei-kun, and everyone else for Teiko. I'm not alone anymore!
As soon as I was entering our school's district, I heard two voices.
"Where's Ayaka Hayashi." A mysterious man said. It was more demanding that it was a question.
"I'll tell you, once again, I don't know of Ayaka's whereabouts. If you wish to find her, ask someone else." A familiar voice said. Wait! That's Sei-kun! I can recognize that voice from anywhere!
"Look kid, this isn't a game. I get paid for finding the girl, your father becomes happy. Simple as that. Now, if you would just cooperate, nothing bad will happen to her, however, if you choose not to, I can't guarantee you that she'll be safe. Your decision." The man said.
OH MY GOD! WHAT IS GOING ON? ARE THEY KILL ME?!? What is they find me? What'll they do from there? Jesus. I just wanted a normal life, is that too much I to ask for? Apparently, yes.
"As I said before, I don't know where she is." Sei-kun responded.
Why won't he give me up? It'll make his life a lot easier. Why is there trouble wherever I go?
"Suit yourself, kid. Be prepared for what is to come." The man left.
"You can come out now, Ayaka." Seo-kun said once the man left.
"Sei-kun!" I immediately ran to hug him. He was very surprised. He jumped a little. He's so cute!
"I'm sorry I couldn't pick you up today." He apologized.
"Are you kidding? That's the least of our worries. What do we do now? You know what Sei-kun, let me go to your dad and-" I was cut off.
"No!" He demanded.
I was shocked. I guess that was out of the question.
"I won't let them hurt you in anyway, got that?" He said.
"Y-Yes." I replied.
The short back to the dorm was very quiet. My mind was full of thoughts. What should I do? This is so complicating. To be honest, I was actually terrified of what is to come. I try my best to hide it, but Sei-kun can tell I'm scared as well.
"Tell me what's wrong." He commanded. I sighed.
"Well, I'm actually, a little, just a tiny bit scared of what'll happen." I said. To be honest, I wasn't just a little scared, I TERRIFIED. But I won't say that.
"I figured."
"Then why'd you ask?"
"I wanted to see if you were telling the truth or not."He held my hand, tightly, and led me to his room.
"Sleep with me tonight." He calmly said.
My face was brighter than the brighter than the fifty shades of red.
"W-W-W-WHAT?!?" I yelled, blushing.
He pulled me into the bed. And tucked me in. What is he doing?
"Relax. I'm not going to do anything to you. Rest assured." He assuringly said.
"H-How can I stay calm if-"
He suddenly hugged me.
"I'm doing this so you won't be scared. If I'm here, all evil will go away." He said to me.
I took a few deep breaths and I calmed down.
"F-Fine. Just this one time though."
Honestly, I'd like to share the same bed everyday. Me and my stupid, embarrassing thoughts.
He turned the lights off and we slept. I fell asleep first. That night was the best sleep I had gotten in years. My dreams were full of butterflies and rainbows. There were no demons, or anything scary.
FINISHED! FINALLY! I'm SOO SOO sorry that it took so long to update. I had so many school-related stuff going on last week! PLEASE FORGIVE ME!!! Anyway, I love you all!!
