Seth
I woke up and the bed next to me was empty and cold, I grabbed my phone to check the time and my heart stopped when it showed 5:36AM. I climbed out bed and I made my way over to the light switch, I clicked it on and I saw the wardrobe door wide open. I stepped out into the corridor, hoping to see the bathroom light on but the corridor was dark and the bathroom light was off.

I walked downstairs and I switched the light on, noticing Becky's shoes were gone. She's gone. I made my way over to the sofa and I collapsed onto it. I was scared I was going to wake up and she'd be gone, I've just got to hope that she hasn't gone for drugs, I've just got to help that she's gone somewhere safe.

Becky
I pulled my sleeves up and I let my fingers just ghost over the previous scars left. I retrieved a needle from my pocket and I flicked the cap off, bringing the needle dangerously close to my arm. "Don't let them win Rebecca, honey I know you hate me and I'm sorry but please don't do this...I'm so sorry for everything." I heard my mothers voice and the needle fell out of my hand, I looked up at her and I saw the tears rolling down her face. "I can't do this anymore, mum I just can't."

"Oh come here..." She pulled me off the ground into a tight embrace. "I'm sorry for everything- I'm sorry for not stopping John...but I was scared. He hurt me too, that's why I never stopped him." Her voice was weak as I clung onto her as if she was my life line. "Is that how you're pregnant?" I pulled away from the hug slightly and I saw her nodding her head.

"Have you been to see him in prison?" I shook my head, how could I face that man after everything he's done to me. "No, I'm just waiting for the court day to be released. So we can send John down for life..."

"Have you got any other needles on you?" My mother asked calmly, I nodded as I retrieved it from my pocket. She took it out of my hand and squirted the contents out of the needle. "Stay clean honey, if not for anyone else do it for you, because you deserve to be happy."

"You're right, I deserve to be happy."

Becky
Me and my mother walked the entire block, just taking about nothing and everything. I knew I had to go home or if Seth woke up and I wasn't there he'd be worried. "If you need anything, just text or call me. I love you Becky." She smiled at me as she pulled me into a bone crushing hug. "I love you too." I walked up the steps of Seth's porch, I placed my skateboard back where it was and I unlocked the door.

I stepped into the living room and I saw Seth passed out on the couch, with the living room light on. Now being very tired myself I carried myself over and I fell down next to him, my heavy eyelids soon falling shut.

"Where have you been?!?" I open my eyes and I see Seth pacing around his living room. "What?" He stoped pacing and looked directly at me, nervously raking his hand through his greasy locks. "Becky where did you go last night, I woke up and the bed was empty!! No note or anything, you just left!" His voice was angry, but I could see the worry etched into his features.

"Just calm down Seth, I needed to get some fresh air."

"You needed to get some drugs more like..." He whispered under his breath but I heard it, causing pain to rush through my heart. "You really don't trust me do you? Not only do you think I'd buy drugs which I did, but you actually think I'd take them? After everything! You're actually unbelievable! Now I'm going to wake up my daughter and don't you dare follow me!" I jumped off the sofa and I forced myself up the stairs, I took a deep breath before I went into Millies room, the last thing she wants to see is me in a state.

"Morning princess!" I walked over to the curtains and I pulled them open, letting light pour into the dark room. "How did you sleep?" I pulled the duvet off her but she quickly pulled it back over her head. "Not well...I'm tired!!" I pulled the duvet back off her and I picked her up, placing her on my hip. "So I'm guessing you want lucky charms this morning to wake you up!" She smiled at nodded her head and I laughed to myself as I began to carry her downstairs.

"Mommy? Why were you sad yesterday?" She spoke inquisitively and I had to try and think of a suitable answer. "Someone attacked me, but I'm fine so you have nothing to worry about princess." She threw her tiny arms around me as I tried to place her down in her high chair. "I love you mummy..." A smile now replaced the frown on my face. "I love you too Millie, now sit down and I'll make you your lucky charms!"
