Chapter 24

Emma's P.O.V

I couldn't move and I couldn't open my eyes but I could hear everything and Killian was saying "Emma darling, please come back to me, I need you, I love you"

"Hey man" I hear Robin say.

"Hey, I'm sorry about this," Killian says to Robin. Does he blame himself for this, it's not his fault.

"It's not your fault, we both didn't know who Neal really was, it's not your fault" Robin says to Killian. To me it sounds like Killian has been crying, this wasn't his fault and I love him so much, knowing he is blaming himself kills me even more.

"I feel like it's my fault, I didn't see how scared she was when Neal was there, I didn't walk her to her car after work...I didn't protect her like I should have" Killian says, breaking down a bit.

"It's not your fault, I blame myself too because she is my best friend and I feel like I failed her" Robin says. No Robin. Why are they blaming themselves, if anything it's Neal's fault. I love both of them and I don't want them blaming themselves for something they had no control over. "Emma's brother is here" Robin tells Killian after some silence.

"He can come in if he wants," Killian says.

"I don't think you want that"

"Why?"

"You are not going to be happy when I tell you this"

"Spit it out, who is he"

"David Nolan"

"I fell in love with David Nolan's sister, you have got to be kidding me" Killian says to Robin, wait does Killian and David know each other.

Robin's P.O.V Tuesday (12:30pm)

"You're not going to be happy when I tell you this," I say to Killian.

Spit it out, who is he?" he asks.

"David Nolan"

"I fell in love with the best most incredible woman and her brother is the one who hates me that most"

"I don't know, but he wants to see Em, I would get out of here before he comes in" I say to him.

"I'm not leaving her side, I can't, so if he wants me out of here then he can kiss my ass because I am not leaving Emma's side" he says.

"Good luck man"

"Thanks"

I kissed Emma's on the head and then I left to go do some paperwork to get my mind off Emma and her being in a coma.

David's P.O.V (2:05pm)

I walk into Emma's hospital room and I see the one and only Killian Fucking Jones, I can not believe Emma is dating him, I don't think he is "what are you doing here Jones?"

"I'm the one who found her beaten and bleeding to death, where were you when she needed her brother, and I'm here because I'm her boyfriend and I'm in love with her" he says.

"How long?"

"2 months"

"How can you be in love with her that fast"

"You got married at 18 to your high school sweetheart do you really want to ask that question"

"How did you meet"

"At the bar she was working at"

"She was working at a bar?" I asked him "is that how this happened?"

"No, she stopped working at the bar and started working on bail bonds, we didn't know that her ex worked for the police and she just found out that the Neal that I was working with was the same man that she dated, and when she found out he knew she was scared. So when she was leaving work he took her" he says.

I say nothing as I go to Emma's side and she seems so peaceful even though I know she is not, how could I just stop talking to her like she told me to. I am the worst brother ever, I should have tried to make things better but instead I just did what she told me to do. Now she is laying on a hospital bed unable to wake up and she doesn't even know that I am here.
