Chapter 4

Emma's P.O.V (12:30am) Monday

I couldn't get Killian out of my head and that's why I can't sleep, normally if I get off work early I can fall asleep very easily but I can't since I met Killian. He stopped me on my way home just to tell me how much he wants to get to know me, what person you just met the night before does that? I don't know what I feel but whatever I feel I've never felt it before; I finally fell asleep at 12:50am.

(8:00am)

I woke up because of loud knocking at my door, I get up and look through the peephole and I see Killian. "What the hell are you doing here Killian and how the hell did you find my apartment?"I asked him.

"Well good morning to you too, I brought donuts," he says.

"Don't you have work?"

"Not today...are you gonna let me in?"

"I guess, what the hell are you doing here?"

"I had nothing else to do so I came here to get to know you, I also brought coffee"

"Give me the coffee" I say while sitting on the couch, he hands me my coffee and a bear claw. "Thanks, so what do you want to know?" I asked him.

"Anything," he says.

"Well you already know that I was in foster care until I was 17 then my brother got me out, in school I never really talked, I only had one friend and that was Robin...he was there when everyone else wasn't, I don't want to talk bad about your girlfriend but she always acted like she owned the world and she made my life worse than it already was...I was bullied a lot in school, I was hurt really bad by the man I thought I loved...that's pretty much all about me, what about you?"

He explains how he grew up with his brother and how his mom got sick after his brother died. He told me how he took care of his mom and how much it killed him when she died. He told me how much of a jock he was in high school and how almost every girl wanted him to be their boyfriend. He told me how he met Milah and how he came to understand why everyone he meets acts the way they do when they meet her.

(10:30am)

"So what did she say about me?" I asked him.

"She pretty much told me that you were a liar, that you lied about being in foster care and that you were a fake, she also said that you acted like one of those quiet people but you really weren't" he says.

"Of course she said that"

"I didn't know weather or not to believe it but now, I know that you are not like that at all, you're sweet and considerate of other people, and you wouldn't do anything if that meant you would lose a friend"

"Really, you got all of that from talking to me for 3 hours?"

"Yeah"

(12:30pm)

Killian just left and I can't believe we talked for 4 and a half hours, I really got to know him and I hope he got to know me like he wanted.
