"What do you mean Jungkook?"
"I tricked them. I forced them to get entangled in their own trap, "Jungkook smirked.
Taehyung shifted his butt," You seriously did that?"
"Yeah you heard me right," Jungkook ruffled his hair, "I held them guilty officially such that they themselves apologized before our principal sir. They looked so legit funny and I mean it." He chuckled while staring in front.
"Damn I missed this. I want to see them embarrassed so bad." Taehyung's lips grew a pout as he rested his back on the bench.
Jimin let out a sigh."Yeah you love to find people getting embarrassed don't you? After all it's a matter of joke to you," he spat in a mocking tone.
Taehyung sprang up. "No, not all you see. I'm only talking about them. Seojun and his badass group of hacks," he explained.
"Whatever. By the way," Jimin turned to the bunny faced on his right, "What about their secret hideouts? Did you reveal it all?"
Jungkook crinkled his nose. "No, not yet but I guess I did give them a silent warning of what I might do to them in future. And it's too confidential. I need to prepare myself for exposing such a huge blunder."
"Aah, that's why I always thought why smoke stank my nostrils whenever I passed the fourth-floor stairs. Did they puff in the terrace?" Taehyung asked, his jaw lightly hanging from being in contact with his upper gums.
Jungkook gave an exceptional nod. "Yes, that's the safest place around here. There's is no fear of getting caught so soon. At least until they fix cameras out there." He cracked his knuckles.
"Jeongguk!!" A voice reverberated in the air that flowed to the three boys who perched at a bench on the lawn. They glanced at the enlarged shadows on the ground approaching them. Jungkook's orbs trailed to the brunette headed boy and his jaws tightened all over again.
The troop of college men stopped a couple of feet away from the toes of Jungkook. He stood on his limbs and gazed at the ones in front.
"What do you want?" he said coldly.
"We are sorry Jeongguk. I didn't know that you would flare up to that extend just for tearing a sketch of yours," Seojun lowered his eyes to the grass. "And thank you for not telling sir about us. Please forgive us. Let's be friends. What do you say?"
Jungkook rolled his eyes and averted his head. His hands slowly filled into his pockets.
Seojun exhaled, "Fine if you don't want to be my friend. I know it's too quick to trust me. But please forgive us. We'll never mess with you again and that's a promise."
Jungkook smacked his lips. "How's your arm? I guess I hit you really hard last day," he spoke without any eye contact with the offended guy.
Seojun's face brightened up. He stepped forward and pulled Jungkook in for a hug. Jungkook patted his back. "Arasso. Now leave me before I change my mind."
"I'll not give you another chance to complain in future," Seojun assured, glistening his thirty-two.
Jungkook slid his head silently up. "Let's see. Your secret is no more one-sided. Remember that."
"Of course. Hope to see you soon." The group dispersed from the spot.
Jungkook rotated his leg to turn back at his friends who were probably not given a second chance to jam in. "I'll go now. My lectures are over."
"I'm not done yet. I've chemistry lab and statistics left. It's gonna be long maybe," Taehyung shrugged.
Jimin aired, "And I've to submit my finance assignment. So gotta stay back."
"Okay, I'll see you then. Bye!" Jungkook jogged outside the college gate as the other two headed to their respective classes.

The day of the painting contest zoomed in. Jungkook took his seat at the competition hall. The participants were made to sit at three feet distances from one another with a large canvas in front of each. There was a shimmering aura diffused in the entire space.
The invigilators soon charged into the room. Every participant braced up themselves and a bell rang whose sound was kind of similar to a triangular instrument. Then the competition took a ready start as Jungkook placed his pencil on the white frame. His fingers held the wood strong when he plied it according to his calculations. The teachers roamed about the hall, scrutinizing the artworks as long as they could.
The clock hands ticked on. Ink drenched filbert brushes painted the sheets. An odour of raw paint emerged through the air. One of the monitors checked his watch. "Two more minutes to go. Hurry up. Finish your detailings," he raised while watching the running arms, curving their masterpieces.
Trrrrriiiinngg!
"Put your brushes down and quietly leave the room," a man in a black shirt announced, "Your results will be declared at six in the evening."
Jungkook arranged his belongings as noises of chair shifts rose to his ears. He eyed his portrait and smiled.
I did a great job. He thought.
"Hey, Jungkook! Let's- wooah!!" Taehyung exclaimed on noticing the other's work, "It's oh! Who is she?"
Jimin caught up with them and gasped, "Jungkook is this your girl? Damn, she's pretty!"
"Oh stop it guys will you? It's nothing like that."
"Then swear on us and say that this isn't the one who peeks in your dreams every night," Jimin said, crossing his arms on his chest.
Jungkook sighed, "Ugh you. Yes, it's her. Happy now?"

The clock hands hit six and the conference room was yet to be completely filled. Students strolled in with their parents and friends, gradually no seats were left vacant. Jungkook was accompanied by his parents and friends on his either side.
"Jungkook what do you think? Who would be among the top ten?" Taehyung whispered into Jungkook's pinna.
"I don't know. Let's wait and watch. Time will spill everything."
