The lunch hall was packed with young boys and girls in their 20s. The clanking of spoons and dishes filled the atmosphere deliberately. The bulged reflector bulbs glowed brightly over each of the tables at whose centre laid the grill from which hissing sound of sizzling meat raised. Surrounding it were the various dishes picked by the students themselves, at least a day free of those malting yellowish-green porridge in the college canteen.
Taehyung slurped his Japchae while adoring the plate of fruit salad iced with lots of strawberries freshly picked from the garden which had become the star of his eyes for the day.
Jimin sniggered when he crunched a pork strip, "Tae stop looking at those strawberries as if it's your girlfriend."
"Yah punk, I love them more than girlfriends. You concentrate on you eating," Taehyung protested.
Areum slowed down consuming her meals as she eyed Taehyung with a soft smile who was soon joined by Jungkook.
He said, "Tae, make sure that your future girlfriend would be the daughter of a farmer or some distributor of strawberries so that she can bring you loads of berries every day!"
Taehyung threw out a pout while the rest of them laughed.
"Great, but guys I'm confused at some other things," Areum confessed, her chopsticks winded the noodles.
"Hmm? What?" Jungkook hummed.
"Look at them," she said, pointing to a table that was within a few yards from theirs, "They look so comfortable with each other. Can anybody ever guess that they were mere strangers of one being a victim of getting abused by the other?"
"I agree. Dongman and Ijeong are a unique match indeed. I could never imagine that a boy would be falling for her just like that despite all those curses," Jimin spoke while putting a pork strip inside his muzzle.
"Wow, they're even feeding each other! How cute! I also want to try it. Whom should I feed?" Taehyung delightfully declared, "Areum-ssi! Open up! This one's for you."
He grabbed a strawberry, between his chopsticks and forwarded it to the girl sitting right across. Areum playfully accepted the fruit in her mouth with a warm smile. She bowed to thank him in silence.
Jimin watched them and expressed his demands, "Hey give me one too. Or get ready for a food fight!"
Taehyung snatched the plate of salad from the table to a safer side and said, "No, never with my strawberries!"
This resulted in each of them laughing out loud in the midst of the filling lunch hour.

The gloominess of dark ink emerged in the skylight. A circular disk-shaped moon peeped among the blooming stars beside Venus, the brightest one. Little animals and birds shushed their hums in their shelters presenting tranquillity everywhere.
Yet the voices of the college freshers stood as an exception mid serenity. A bonfire was lit in the middle of a meadow surrounding which was the participants of the chatterbox. Girls and boys sat in their night attires for the last gossip before bedtime.
Jungkook stretched his legs while messaging his thighs smoothly. Jimin broke, "Jungkook, why don't you sing something? It's been months since he heard you last!"
"Right. Kook, bring back your melody," Taehyung suggested, giving a wink, followed by a wide boxy smile.
Areum arched her brows. "You sing too? You never told me that before!" She did seem surprised as she was supposed to be. After all who could guess about such a hidden talent in one who never hummed a line before?
Jungkook scratched his head. "Ugh guys, why did you say that!" he complained feeling a shyness tinting his hot cheeks.
"So what? Don't you wanna let your girlfriend know how good of a singer are you?" Jimin queried.
"But-"
"Just one please, for me," Areum gazed with puppy eyes.
Jungkook squeezed his orbs. "Argh this is so mean!" he expressed while giggling in vain which kind of looked like a fake cry.
Strings of the guitar vibrated as Jungkook trailed his finger through them, producing a kind of mood delighting music. He closed his eyelids and concentrated on the lyrics that were dedicated to his dreamgirl.
'You are the sun debt in my life
The return of my childhood dreams
I don't know what this feeling is
Is this a dream too?
Dream is a blue mirage in the desert
Deep inside of me, a priori
The choking chokes become happy
The surroundings are getting more and more transparent
I can hear the sea from afar
Crossing the dream, beyond the bush
Go to the place where it gets clearer
Take my hands now
You are the cause of my euphoria...'The whole of the population held onto their hearts for his outstanding notable vocals. His soulful words along with the music escaping the mouth added an engaging aura at the fire ground. Flames of the burning wood blended with the air. Flying fireflies twinkled in the bushes heading to the hill slopes.
A melodious silence grew among all of them with only Jungkook's song floating in the air.
Taehyung as a matter of joke whispered into Jimin's ear while his index directed at the newly formed couple, Dongman and Ijeong, sitting on the other side of the bonfire. Jimin chuckled at finding them flirting with each other haughtily.
Areum sat next to the singing boy, clenching her knees together as she peacefully let her eyes absorb the person's beautiful personality. A soft wind blew his bangs, misplacing them above each other. His canines sparkled by the reflection of the fire. It felt as if some spell was cast over them, which had no wicked intention but all for good.
Few moments passed by. Jungkook concluded his song with a little leer. Soon he was drowned by the praises that he received from everyone, starting from students to teachers. Huge rounds of applause filled the atmosphere.
Areum clapped her palms together whereas Jungkook took her hand into his. He locked his eyes to hers and smiled gladly.
"Your voice is so amazing!" she declared in astoundness.
Jungkook sneered, "Not better than уours. Even your worst laughter is enough for my heart to skip a beat."
Areum twitched his arm prior to resting her head on his shoulder. A smile acquired its position in the faces of the two.
"Good night everyone." All dispersed from the ground after bading and hoping for a nice nap.

"Areum, wait!"
Aream flipped back right before entering the pavilion to find two girls in their night dresses sprinting towards her. She stood with a black expression bracing her visage.
"Will you mind if we sleep with you tonight?" one of them spoke while catching her breaths whilst the other one palmed her chest.
"Of course not. You are welcome to do that and it would be good as I sleep alone in my tent," she exposed politely.
"Thank you so much! You're really nice. Jungkook got a good taste, I see."
Areum felt her cheeks heating up. She shook herself, "Um-ah let's go. It's already late."
