Loving endlessly ~ Jily

•Chapter 29•

The Marauders and Lily sat nervously at the Gryffindor Table, Lily the most seeing as she was the least used to this. They had come a few minutes before to see that everything went perfectly. "This is going to be the best last birthday prank ever!" Exclaimed Sirius. "Yeah, obviously. Because it includes me." Said Lily which made everyone smile. Sirius rolled his eyes, "Sure Lilykins."

"What are you guys going on about here." Said Marlene as she sat beside the red-head. "Oh you'll se Marls." Replied James. The Great Hall was slowly filling in with students for Dinner and suddenly their tables were filled with delicious food. As the students started to eat dinner, the five pranksters became more and more excited. Lily had become very fidgety.(like she did when she was nervous)

"What's up with you Lily?" Asked Alice as she picked up a Pumpkin Pasty. "Oh you might wanna skip that today Al, believe me." Lily said ignoring Alice's previous comment. "Why?" Asked Alice, confused. "AAAAGHHHHH" Came a scream from the Ravenclaw table.

Everyone turned around to see a blonde Ravenclaw girl staring with horror at the person sitting beside her.....Professor McGonagall? "That's why." Said a smirking Lily. "Wait what?" Asked Mary, puzzled. "WHAT THE-" Yelled someone else as you could see a Professor Flitwick sitting beside her. "Wh-what's happening to me!?" Exclaimed a boy on the Gryffindor Table. His red hair were turning black.

The professors too, looked the students, too shocked to do anything. Soon there were many Professor McGonagalls and Flitwicks and Slughorns sitting between the students. The Marauders and Lily sat their laughing their asses off. Even Marlene, Mary and Alice sat their laughing. Students figured out that their was something in the Pumpkin Pasties. The Great Hall was a chaos.

The real Professors were trying to figure out what was going and Slughorn was checking the potion that was in the Pasties. By now the students were having a lot of fun with what had just happened. People pretending to be the real teachers and trying to give out detentions.

"Mr. Snape, you know you should really do something for those greasy hair." Said a Slughorn.

"Ms. Patil, you know that butterfly thing in your hair looks horrible, really." Said a McGonagall.

"Will you go on a date with me?" Asked another McGonagall.

"Happy Birthday Sirius Black." Yelled a Flitwick.
"Thanks Professor!" Sirius shouted back, laughing.

Maybe not the teachers, but the students were most definitely enjoying this.

It had been recognised that it was some sort of Polyjuice Potion, a little bit advanced though. The teachers hoped that the effects would wear till an hour since they weren't sure how long the polyjuice potion would be affecting them as it was a different version of the potion and the only way was to wait for the potion to wear off.

"Mr. Potter, Mr. Black, and you both too, Mr Lupin and Mr. Pettigrew, in my office, now." Came a voice from behind the Marauders. "Oh Merlin, this isn't going to end well." Muttered Marlene. "Pretty sure they knew the consequences before they did...well, this." Replied Lily. "Oh and Ms. Evans, you too." Said  the Professor again. "Oh no." Was the only thing Lily could say before she got up with the boys (who seemed very much unaffected by the way.)

"I'm sure you know why I have invited you here." Said McGonagall. "We have a gist." Grinned Sirius and ended up receiving a very stern look from her. It shut him up. "As, let's say, creative, that mayhem you just caused was," Said Professor and let out a very small smile which only the Marauders could figure out.

"I am sure you are aware of the consequences, yes, you too Ms. Evans and Mr. Lupin." She continued. "Professor, actually to be quite frank how did you know Lily was involved?" Asked James. Professor McGonagall smiled at that, "Advancing Regular Potion, part 2 from the least visited section at the right corner." Everyone looked at her, surprised.

"Only Mr. Lupin or Ms. Evans could have read that book and seeing how the latter is much more interested in Potions than the first, it was obvious, wasn't it?" She finished. "Now I have to go, your detentions will be awarded to you by tomorrow and they would have been much harsher had there been a more striking evidence." She said. The boys and Lily just nodded, a bit confused at to what just happened.

"Oh while you're here, feel free to have a biscuit"
