~Mew's POV~

I heard the voice of a person I believed was dead.

"Jade...?"

"So you do remember my voice Mew. I'm sorry I lied boy. It was a situation where you needed to take the lead and also find your mate."

I stayed silent before looking at my family that was looking at me with concern. Especially my bii.

"Mew, is everything alright? Who is on the phone this early?"

***Forgot to mention that since the pups were born at night it's only like 3 in the morning***

"It's a person I haven't seen in a long time bii." He just nodded his head before yawning again.

"Mew, that was your mate right? The boy Gulf. Please put me on FaceTime son. I want to see if you are all safe."

I just pulled the phone away before clicking on the button for FaceTime. I propped it against our bed frame before I looked away and picked up my pups before laying them in a single rolling bed. I moved them to the side of the bed so we would have easy access to them if they woke up by any chance.

I then adjusted the my bii's nest so he could lay down against me and tuck his face into my neck. I started rubbing circles on his back before Krist and Singto said they will be quiet so we could talk.

"Come on Jade. Tell me the reason you faked your death and left me alone. Why did you send those two men here? Why wasn't it safe? How do you know my bii? Tell me everything." I was so confused.

"Boo, who is he?"

"He was original leader of my group before he gave it to me after he "died". He took me off the streets when I left home at 18 and trained me to become his successor."

He just nodded before I actually looked at Jade. He looked older, healthy, relaxed but also tense. His hair had grey streaks in it and a few wrinkles by the side of his face.

"My boy, when I faked my death, it was to give you the power you needed to grow stronger and find your mate. That woman had visited me before, the same one who told you how you find him. At the time, your parents were trying their hardest to get you back so they could force you to marry someone who had power they wanted. I also knew they wanted to find your mate so they could get rid of him before you found him and mated. They were making false contracts with powerful people so they could gain more power to find you and force you to marry some person they chose. In order to avoid this, I planned my own death so I could give you the reins and take control of your own life and make your own decisions. When I had heard you purposely placed yourself in a prison, I knew you had found a way to locate your mate. I also heard after awhile about how he was a fierce one when it came to claim to his alpha. Did he actually throw a phone at your mother or were my men exaggerating?"

"He did throw a phone in her face. He also dragged out the bitch they wanted to marry by the hair outside before throwing her out. He is a fierce little thing but that only made me love him more."

"Hahaha, I should've asked them to record it. Anyway, after a few incidents I heard about you two practically killing people with your eyes while you were being jealous of others and protective of each other. After I heard about him getting pregnant, I knew they would try to do something to harm him and your pups. Those two tend to think they are smart but in reality they are really dumb. I wanted to send help to protect him the day they had attacked but I guess you hadn't told him about me when he shot both of my men."
