It took one year for them to completely be comfortable each other to the point that they would bicker around publicly without any care to the world and instantly make up as if nothing happened.
No, not that kind of make up where people kiss and are instantly cool.
The two were different. They make up through food or anything that they love to do together such as the piano. When Yoongi played the piano and Byeol listened, they forget about everything else and are solely focused on the current precious moment.
"Do you know how very jealous I am of your fingers and your piano skills?" Byeol joked, giving a smirk at the male as she scooted closer to him on the stool, nudging his shoulder playfully.
The latter chuckled, his gaze still settled on the black grand piano's keys, his fingers absent-mindedly playing random soft tunes with muscle memory.
"I do. You're pretty obvious." Yoongi grinned at her, his gums slightly showing.
Byeol's gaze lingered on his lips longer which didn't go unnoticed by the boy. Pink hues spread around his cheeks as he stared at the girl's eyes which were still staring at his lips.
The boy got the meaning wrong, however.
"Your smile is really pretty too." The female blurted out jealously with a pout, oblivious of the fact that Yoongi had blushed because of her staring.
When the boy stayed silent, she looked up to meet his eyes and that's when she realized the close proximity between them. Just one more small wrong move and their lips would touch.
"Oh..."
Byeol carefully scooted away to give some space to the boy that she unintentionally invaded. "Sorry about that," she mumbled shyly, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.
Yoongi noticed how often she did that every time she was shy or embarrassed and that moment, he came to know that it was a habit of hers and suddenly he had the urge to know every single detail about the girl. Who she was, what was her hobbies, where did she live, and what she does in her free time.
Everything about her.

"J.CO donuts are the best," Byeol commented cheerfully as she munched on her Oreology-flavored donut.
Her company, Yoongi, laughed. "Oreology is literally the only flavor you eat."
Byeol used her free hand to smack the male playfully on his arm. "Shut up. The flavor is just heavenly and you can't possibly blame me for sticking to only one flavor. It's addicting!"
Yoongi let out yet another amused laugh and took a bite of his Blueberry Cheescake donut. It was just another simple day of them hanging out in their favorite secret place, the university's rooftop.
No one really goes up in the rooftop because one, people were probably lazy in taking tons of stairs and two, they were afraid of heights, which was why the two were so enlightened and happy that they got the rooftop only for themselves.
"So tell me, Byeol-ah," Yoongi began to speak while licking the bits of donuts left on his fingers. "What do you like to do?"
"Me?" She pointed to herself, taken aback by his sudden question.
"No, the bird behind you," the male responds sarcastically while referring to a bird that was perched up on top of the railings then proceeded to fly away. "You, of course."
Byeol's cheeks grew warm in embarrassment. "Right..." she muttered under her breath, earning a humorous chuckle from her friend.
Once the laughter died, Yoongi patiently waited for the girl's answer. Byeol pondered over his question for a moment, then became hesitant at first. Fortunately, it went unnoticed to the boy but then she realized that Yoongi was and had been her friend ever since so she decided that there was no reason to be shy of her hobby.
"I like to write," she mumbled softly, looking away from Yoongi's direction and settling her gaze on the sunset before them. "I write often during my free time or when I'm alone."
The male's ears certainly caught up her words and he found it quite adorable on how Byeol acted shy about her hobby. There was nothing wrong about writing so Yoongi wondered why she was shy.
"That's nice. Though I wonder why you're embarrass of it."
"I'm not!" The girl retorted, whipping her head around instantly to look at the boy. "It's just that...that— you know, it may sound cheesy and cringy so..." she trailed off, worsening her embarrassment.
Yoongi raised an eyebrow at her. "You're ashamed of what you do?" He let out a tsk sound in disappointment. "You know, you shouldn't be. If you truly love what you do, be proud of it, Byeol-ah. Show the world what you got."
Byeol smiled at his words then began to wonder how was she so lucky to find a friend like him.
