Present
Only the sound of the air conditioner and the loud typing sounds on a keyboard were heard in his studio. The dark circles were evident under his eyes but he forced himself to open his eyes and not fall asleep.
These days, he had been losing motivation and inspiration for what he's doing. It was because there were alot of deadlines to catch up on so he couldn't linger too long on one song since he wasn't his own boss.
His gaze lingered on his phone for a moment, stil waiting for a reply from his friend. Just when he was about to bring his attention back to the screen, his phone lit up and began to rang.
"Hello?" he instantly answered.
"Hyung!" Jimin exclaimed from the other end of the line. "Sorry for not replying to your text earlier, I had to do something real quick. Anyways, I'm almost there! As soon as I get there, I'll practice dancing to your song!"
"Okay," he simply answered before taking a deep breath and ending the call.
Sometimes, he envied Jimin because of how carefree he was. Despite the pact schedule they both had, he felt like as if his friend knew better than him. How does the kid manage to dance and learn alot of choreographies and still get enough sleep?
Yoongi yawned, dismissing his thoughts as he stretched his limbs.
His thoughts flew to the events yesterday afternoon. A small gummy smile imprinted itself on his lips as he remembered how delicate and fragile his wife was.
His hand unconsciously touched his neck, where she had painted his pale skin a series of lovemarks.
He let out a sigh after before massaging his temple. He was thankful that the world had given him someone to love and someone who loves him. Someone who was there for him when things went rough.
But she seemed too perfect...
Too perfect for her too be real.

Taehyung was annoyed by his partner's stubbornness. He didn't know why but ever since he gained the knowledge of Bora being related to Byeol, he suddenly had the urge to be by the woman's side at all times.
For the past few months, everything was treated as business between them since Bora mainly focused on making sure to get her revenge on her younger sister. But ever since Taehyung found out, he became hesitant to do anything. Moreover, he was starting to get under the woman's skin.
Her heels clicked across the empty hallway of his publishing company, her jaw set and hardened as usual and her eyes as icy as the ice.
She came face to face with the glass door. After shooting a one second glance at the man seated before his desk, she marched inside his office to give off a surprising entrance.
Taehyung instantly moved his head up to see who came and wasn't surprised to see Bora strutting towards his desk.
He sighed, taking off his glasses. "What are you doing here?"
Bora scoffed. "I come here almost every other day yet you don't know my purpose here?"
Taehyung fluttered his eyes close for a moment before meeting the girl's piercing gaze. "I already told you, the deal's off. You can't expect me to continue being a part of your plan knowing that it's your sister you're torturing."
"She deserves it!" she exclaimed. "I don't see any reason on not to continue this. What? Are you blinded by her now? All of a sudden you fell hard for her?"
"No." He rolled his eyes. "Don't be ridiculous. I'm only speaking here with reasonable statements. She's your sister, you're supposed to support her. I don't get why you need to do this when you're much more ahead of her."
"She needs to feel what I felt years ago." Bora didn't mean for her voice to crack at the end but it did anyway. "I want her to know what it felt like being disliked by her own parents. Ever since she came, it's always been her. I did everything I could to be a good daughter as well but it's always her they're talking about."
Suddenly she slammed her hands on the desk, causing Taehyung to flinch a bit but regained his composture immediately.
"That's why you have to keep your end at the deal, Taehyung. Your company wouldn't thrive without me."

"Hyung?"
The male's voice caused Yoongi to straighten up in his seat. He was in the verge of falling asleep while working and waiting for the aspiring idol. But he couldn't refrain from feeling the drowsiness slowly seeping in his system so he had been constantly fighting it back for about an hour now.
He mentally thanked Jimin for arriving, otherwise he would have fallen asleep completely.
Yoongi swiveled his chair around to face the younger who closed his studio's door and walked towards him. He noticed the plastic bag in his hand before meeting his eyes.
He gave him an eye smile. "I brought something to eat. Did you have lunch, hyung?"
The older shook his head slowly before taking the plastic bag that Jimin handed to him.
"You should eat first then."
"Thanks," he muttered quietly.
Jimin rubbed his hands together. "Sorry for keeping you waiting. I, uh, had to finish something first. After you eat, can I see your work?"
"It's alright," Yoongi responded while he took a bite of his burger. "And yeah. You can actually check it right now if you want."
"Okay."
Jimin slowly walked towards the older's computer but not missing the chance to eye his hyung curiously. For the past few days, he had noticed that Yoongi's mood was down. His mind drifted back when he out of nowhere dropped the bomb that he was married. They weren't friends for so long but they were quite close already and he never expected for the man to be married.
Ever since, he began to speculate that Byeol and him were married but he never chose to bring it up on either of them because he felt that it was creepy and it invaded their privacy given that he recently just befriended Byeol and his and Yoongi's friendship only bloomed because of their work.
Jimin let out a sigh before scrolling through the files of Yoongi's computer screen, his heart clenching and unclenching for a few times.
