Present

Jimin glided gracefully across the huge spacious floor of the dance practice room. As he danced, his eyes never left his figure on the mirror that took up one side of the wall. Just behind him, sat Byeol, who was mesmerized by his passion for dancing.

She could clearly see in the way he moves and his eyebrows scrunched up that he loved what he was doing. He reminded her of herself when it came to writing.

Hugging her knees to her chest, her eyes continued to follow his moving figure. The soft smile playing on her lips never left until the song ended and Jimin halted, his chest heaving up and down as his heavy breaths resonated throughout the whole enclosed room.

Byeol clapped her hands softly, her smile growing wider, which caught the male's attention.

He smiled back, their eyes meeting in the mirror before he turned around and made his way towards his bag that rested beside her.

He took his tumbler and gulped down a huge amount of cold water.

"You really dance well, Jimin." Byeol's eyes scrunched up.

She saw how his cheeks turned pink and he covered it immediately by clearing his throat and sitting down on the floor across her. "I have alot to improve though."

"Isn't that great though? You have something to improve which will serve as your motivation to keep on going."

Her words strucked her as soon as they left her lips and Jimin was aware of it too, seeing how the smile on Byeol's lips instantly faded away.

A frown made its way to her face but she dismissed it immediately before meeting Jimin's eyes again. A concerned expression was etched across his features so she let out a forced smile to reassure him.

"If you don't mind, can I use the restroom real quick?"

"Of course, Byeol." Jimin stood up and reached out a hand for the girl to take then he helped her stand up on her feet. "The restroom's at the end of the hallway."

She mumbled a small thanks to him before exiting the room. Byeol was glad that Jimin didn't push her to speak up about her thoughts. She was truly grateful to have a friend like him.

As she made her way to the restroom, she began to have a huge amount of thoughts swirling through her head again. Most of which are unhealthy and stressed her to the edge.

What made her more uneasy was that she knew this building was where her husband was working and she wondered if they would run across each other's paths. It also made her wonder if he and Jimin knew each other. Because if so, that would be even more messed up than it already was. But she trusted Jimin that he wouldn't say a word. She didn't want to worry Yoongi and get in his way of achieving his dream and doing the things he loved.

Byeol stared at her reflection in the mirror before splashing water on her face in hopes to wake her up in her senses.

After a few minutes of staring and recollecting herself, she finally brought herself to exit the restroom.

Yoongi tugged at his scalp in frustration before slamming his hands suddenly on the desk. He barely missed the keyboard which meant that if he hit it, then undoubtedly, the keys would fly away.

He didn't understand what was wrong. He always thought he did his best but he always felt something was missing. It was driving him crazy and he was on the brink of losing his insanity, that's what he thought.

That wasn't all.

Things have changed. He noticed it. Between him and Byeol. Something was off and he couldn't decipher what it was. He felt that his wife was hiding something from him and it made his heart clench. He didn't know where things began to go wrong but he suddenly missed those days when they were still happy and would always go on lovely days especially at night.

It would be full of smiles and laughters, kisses and cuddles. But now, he wasn't sure. Was it because of the marriage? What made everything change? Was it because the spark was already gone?

Falling out of love.

The phrase scared Yoongi in ways that nobody could explain. He doubted it was the reason.

He let out a sigh, thinking that such a thought was ridiculous. The man calmed down a bit so he decided to take a break first and go to his friend, Jimin.

Turning off the lights of his studio, he let out another deep breath again before closing the door and walking towards the elevator.

Time seemed to tick slowly as he waited for the elevator to reach the designated floor. He watched the numbers go up as he tapped his foot on the floor impatiently. He felt relieved once the doors opened. He wouldn't deny that he almost felt like suffocating while he was in there.

His footsteps echoed across the hallway as he slowly inched closer towards the practice room. He hovered his hand above to open the door when he heard muffled voices inside. After hesitating quite a bit and scratching his head, he decided to knock instead.

Seconds later, the door opened, revealing Jimin and someone he didn't expect.

Behind him was Min Byeol's small form.

Her eyes widened a bit as well and Yoongi raised an eyebrow with a confused expression. Jimin, who knew what was going on, swallowed.

"Hyung, what's up?"

Yoongi met his eyes briefly before he asked, "You two know each other?"

Jimin's theory indeed had been confirmed.

"Yoongi, do you two know each other too?" Byeol's soft voice successfully caught the older's attention and a soft expression instantly settled on his face.

"Yeah, we do. We kind of work together," Yoongi said awkwardly. "How about you two?"

"Oh? We're friends."
