Beads of sweat trailed from his forehead as he continued to pant and catch his breath. Park Jimin had been an aspiring dancer—idol, ever since he was young. He liked how his body moved fluidly to the beats of the music. Ever since he found out about his new hidden talent, he was determined to show it to the world when the time comes.

That time was near.

The apartment he rented had enough space for him to practice his moves. Even without the mirror, he could tell if he had to repeat some movements or improve them.

Though, the only problem was he pushed himself too hard.

When he heard that a company in Seoul was looking for teenagers, who aspired to be idols someday, Jimin couldn't let the opportunity slip. So, he packed all of things eagerly and rode the earliest train to Seoul.

Of course, he got accepted. He was born with a talent after all.

It was also in that company where he met Min Yoongi, a producer. Their first meeting wasn't exactly the most ideal because it involved of Jimin collapsing in the hallways of the building. Coincidentally, Yoongi's studio was just around the corner and the male was surprised to see the younger nearly hitting his head so he caught him in time.

And that was how their friendship began to bloom.

Though, Jimin noticed how secretive the older was. Their conversations mostly consisted only of small talks and they rarely talked about something deeper than that. However, he noticed how quitely similar they were. Yoongi was also the type to push himself too hard. He took note of how eager he is to finish something and he wouldn't stop until he liked the results of his works.

He was worried for his hyung, so of course, he would take care of him if he would.

One night, everyone had gone home and the whole building was lights off except for Yoongi's studio. Jimin would crash every now and then.

"Hyung, aren't you gonna go home yet?" He groaned as he trust fell on the couch.

"Can't right now. I have to finish this," Yoongi replied with his face still glued on the screen.

Jimin sighed. "You don't have to push yourself hard, you know. I really think that your songs are masterpieces and I like the way they are."

"Jimin, if you're tired then go home. You don't have to wait for me every night."

The younger wondered why the older was always like this. He couldn't seem to be satisfied. But he couldn't blame him since he was the same. The only difference was that was before. He realized that ever since he and Yoongi became friends, he didn't push himself that much harder anymore. He did work hard but he made sure to take some rests in between.

And the fact that he was also working part time on a convenience store—he was able to balance his time well. Plus, he hadn't fully unpacked on his apartment yet and he already foresaw that it would take more than a year to fully unpack.

When his train of thoughts came to an abrupt stop, he let out a deep sigh again before standing up from the couch. Silence hung in the air which meant that Yoongi was still focused on the glowing screen. As Jimin watched him with a frown etched across his face, he realized that he wouldn't be able to convince his friend to call it day, considering that he was a workaholic.

Instead, he announced, "Okay, I'll be going now, hyung. Just... take care of yourself, okay?"

The former hummed in response and mumbled a soft okay before he continued to type, the keyboard typing being the only source sound inside the studio.

After another sigh escaped Jimin's lips, he left the studio and was greeted by the darkness of the hallways of the company's building. His footsteps echoed throughout the corridors and he couldn't help but feel something heavy in his chest at each step he took as he slowly drifted further away from his friend's studio up until he had fully set outside the building.

Jimin met Byeol.

That was when everything changed again. No—I meant only took his life into a turn. Up until that time and even the present, he never stopped caring for Yoongi. He was his friend, after all.

He wouldn't deny if he found her quite pretty to his eyes. After all, he was still a male with hormones going haywire at times. Finding out that her name was Min Byeol, he already had his suspicions high up. But when she told that she had a husband, that slightly confirmed theory.

Though, he wouldn't deny that he had a small crush on her. But what could he do? She was married and the fact that her husband was his friend, he wouldn't certainly make a move on her.

Besides, it was just a small crush. It would soon pass.

Jimin had no idea of what was going on in their relationship but he noticed that Byeol was feeling down at most times. He guessed it was because of Yoongi being a workaholic. Though, he wanted help, he didn't want to pry on private matters. He would have to wait for the right time, which explains on why he tries every time to make Yoongi speak up.

He would be lying if he told himself that he wasn't slightly offended that his friend didn't tell him sooner that he was married.

But he thought to himself, whatever their problem was, he would try his best to help both parties in order to make them happy.

After all, it was for his friend and the girl he began to have a crush on and of course, a considered friend.
