Present
A throbbing head accompanied by a racing heart, Yoongi typed in an unbelievable fast speed as he focused on one goal at that night: to submit the song he had written to his boss before the day ended. But because of the lack of inspiration and motivation, everything seemed rushed about the song he wrote. Starting from the instrumental beat until the lyrics. It was good but not good enough for Yoongi since he felt there was something missing in it.
Nonetheless, he shooed the thought and feeling, deciding that whining and procrastinating about it wouldn't do any good for him. He was already struggling with meeting the deadlines and pulling up all-nighters almost every night, sacrificing his time that he wished to spend for Byeol as well as his physical health.
Once finished, he leaned back on the chair of his studio with a huff of breath, closing his eyes to rest for a moment.
"Are you done now?"
The voice behind him said softly and he slightly turned his chair around to meet the gaze of the younger male. His face etched with worry and concern, accompanying his damp forehead and red cheeks, due to the endless and passionate dancing he did in the practice room.
Yoongi nodded but rolled his eyes afterwards. "Not the best I've made nor am I even satisfied but I guess I have to suck it up, you know." He forced out a smile.
His companion let out a soft chuckle, reaching out for a towel to wipe the sweat on his forehead and neck.
"Don't worry, hyung." He stood up, patting Yoongi's shoulder. "I'm positive that I'll be the final touch to put your song into life. Just trust me, hyung. I got you."
The two males exchanged smiles before they called it a day and went on to their own ways after saying their goodbyes.

"I'm home, Byeol-ah," he called out from the living room, kicking his shoes off. The lights were turned on and he caught a glimpse of his beloved moving around in the kitchen.
A grin made its way on his face as he quietly approached her, seeing that she still haven't heard him and decided to surprise her.
Little did he know why was she zoning out.
The aroma of kimchi fried rice hit his nostrils and he halted for a moment to admire how his wife was a good cook then remembering his intention, he resumed walking, creeping up from behind her.
When he was near enough, he grabbed her waist with a loud boo, making the girl yelp and turn around to hit the intruder when she saw the handsome face of her husband, a gummy smile plastered on his lips.
"Jesus Christ, Yoongi." She placed a hand on her chest as she calmed her racing heart.
The male chuckled, hands never leaving her hips, caressing them gently with his pale fingertips. "Sorry. Couldn't help it."
His gaze on her slid past her and fell on the cooking kimchi fried rice on a pot. "That looks delicious. I'm hungry, let's eat together."
Byeol nodded, gently pushing his grip away from her to tend to the food. Yoongi felt that there was something different about Byeol but he shrugged it off and wordlessly settled himself on one of the chairs, propping his elbow on the dining table as he began to watch her move around in an observant manner.
