His hands were cold on my skin but the moment was anything but. He looked in my eyes and I couldn't even think of words to say. I just wanted him back, I wanted what we had back.

"I should have never done any of it; I should have told you everything." He explained, relaxing his hands a little but keeping them against my skin. "I'd sit next to Dixie and I'd just think 'what the hell am I doing?'. She's a lovely girl, don't get me wrong but she'll never mean to me what you do and I should have never tried to make her."

"Noah," I whispered, placing my hands on his wrists, removing his hands from my face. "I'm leaving...none of this matters anymore."

Looking away from me, Noah sighed as he shoved his hands back in his pockets and returned to his original position against the car. I couldn't look at him, I couldn't bare to see him like this but I didn't know what else to say. Feeling the tears begin to build, I turned back towards the house, deciding it was best to leave the conversation there but as I did, Noah spoke once more.

"Don't go."

"Noah, the party's for me, I can't-"

"I'm not talking about the party, Regan." Looking over at me, as I turned back, his eyes pleaded with me. "Don't go to Italy."

"I have-"

"You don't." He said, making his way over to me once more. "You don't have to; not anymore."

I didn't think it would ever happen again; his lips on mine. I didn't think I'd ever feel it again; the feeling I got whenever he was around. It seemed so far from the point at which we were at but it wasn't. His left hand was around my waist as his right cupped my cheek, pulling me closer to him with every second. It was a moment I never wanted to end. It was a moment I'd been longing for for so long now.

"Things are still so crazy around here." I whispered against his lips, once they had left mine.

"And we'll get through them together; going to Italy is only going to make things worse. And not to mention, I'm going to miss you way too much."

Letting out a laugh, I placed my hand on his cheek, sliding my thumb over his lips before removing my hand.

"I should really get back to the party." Placing a soft kiss to my forehead, his hand left my waist and I immediately missed the feeling. Beginning to make my way towards the front door, I stopped as I heard Noah open his car door. "Aren't you coming?" I asked, turning to face him.

Looking at me from over the door, he replied, "No, if I go in there, it'll be about us and tonight's about you. Go, I'll call you." Raising my eyebrows in doubt as that familiar statement left his lips, every time he didn't call me began to run through my mind. "For real this time."

Standing in the driveway, I watched his car disappear from my sight and suddenly I realized; the decision to leave had just become ten times harder. Heading back in, I saw everyone having a great time and after the conversation I just had, I knew this night was going to be one of the best ones I've had in a long time.

---

Waking up the next morning, it hit me like a ton of bricks. I had two days left with my friends, two days left with Noah and two days left in LA.

"Morning gorgeous," His voice ran through me and I swear I could have listened to it for the rest of my life. "Pack a bag; meet me at yours by 10." The sound of the dial tone appeared as he hung up the phone and it was only then that I realized the time. 9:14am.

"Shit." Jumping out of the spare bed, I laughed as I tripped over Griffin, who had fallen asleep on the floor next to the bed, instead of in it. Grabbing my belongings, I raced to my car and began making my way home.

"Walk of shame, I see." It was almost as if that was his favourite position; leaning against the car, like he was the high school senior taking out the freshman for the very first time.

"I am so sorry, give me 10 minutes." I pleaded, feeling so embarrassed about the state I was in.

"Don't bother showering," He instructed, opening his car door. "Where we're going, we'll be getting a hell of a lot dirtier." Sending the sexiest smirk I've ever seen my way, he got in his car and closed the door without another word. Letting out a chuckle to hide how incredibly turned on I was just by the stupid smirk, I turned around and headed inside.
