It felt like a lifetime between when his hand touched my cheek to when his lips moved that much closer to mine. He was taking his time, almost as if he was hesitating and was unsure if this was really something he wanted to do. But for me, the longer he waited, the more I wanted it. I wanted to feel his lips against mine. I wanted to know what it would be like to go from friends to something slightly more. I wanted to know if the moment was actually something worth having.

"Addison, wait!' Turning my head from Noah as I heard Bryce's voice emerge from the house, I knew something had happened. Placing my hand on Noah's chest to stop him from moving any closer, I jumped up and left the moment behind.

"What the hell is going on?" I asked, pushing through the crowd, finally seeing Blake.

"Addison walked in...just as Bryce was busy with our friends here." He explained, looking over at the strippers who had moved onto the next desperate boy in line.

"I didn't think she was coming?"

"Turns out Tayler wasn't the only one with a surprise for Bryce." Seeing Noah push his way through the crowd on the opposite side, I was immediately taken back to the roof. I didn't realize how much I wanted that until I ruined it.

"He's got a lot of making up to do." Josh said, from behind me. In all honesty, Bryce wasn't the only one.

The party died down and I had done my best to avoid looking at Noah. Not because of what happened but because I made the stupid mistake of not letting it happen. I finally have a moment...a moment I've been waiting to have for so long and I let myself ruin it. I wouldn't be surprised if Noah just avoided me at all costs. Placing the garbage bag of bottles and cans by the garage, I headed into the bathroom but before I could fully close the door, I felt someone push it from the other side.

"What the-" My sentence was cut off by a pair of lips against mine and I swear, I could build my whole life around the softness of them. The bathroom door clicked, signalling it was locked and before I knew it, I was being picked up and placed on the counter. His lips moved with mine as his left hand traveled to the back of my head, pushing me as close to him as possible.

"I shouldn't have waited so long." Noah whispered against my lips as he broke the kiss. He was standing in between my legs with both hands now placed on either side of my body on the counter.

Letting out a little laugh as I said "You got there in the end." Leaning in for just one more kiss, his hand caressed my cheek before he left the bathroom without a single word.

I sat on the counter as I tried to piece myself back together. That actually just happened. Noah Beck. Kissed me. In my bathroom. Romantic. But hey, beggars can't be choosers when they ruin the most romantic situation they've ever been in. Turning around to look at myself in the mirror, I straightened out my shirt before jumping off the counter and leaving the bathroom.
