"You know what I just realized?" Noah asked, as I tapped the excess powder from the brush. "I have to sit here, tell you all my secrets and still have makeup put on my face. There's no win here for me."
"Um...yeah...I was hoping you wouldn't clock that until after the video." I said, placing the brush down.
"I'm not just a pretty face, Regan. Sometimes, I actually have a brain." He joked, taking a sip of his water. "But because you're such a sweet girl, we'll continue."
"You know what they say, Noah, kill 'em with kindness." Sending a wink towards the camera, Noah let out a chuckle as I grabbed my phone to read out the next question. "When you first started hanging out with the guys, what was your first opinion on them?"
"Honestly...I didn't really know if I'd fit in all that well. They like to be crazy, party...get wild and I'm not really like that. Like, my idea of wild is a midnight trip to the beach or something, you know?"
"Spontaneous trips is probably my favourite thing. I would rather do that than get blackout at some random party." I said, agreeing with Noah.
"Exactly! I think it's just more fun, I guess." He said. "So I was just worried that they weren't going to take me for who I am, in that respect, but they're amazing and they accepted everything I am and then I met you and Casey and although Casey likes to be...just as wild as the boys, you made me feel extremely welcome, you always do. You've got a very inviting character and it's nice to be around."
"You're just buttering me up." I said, getting embarrassed.
"No, seriously. The way you carry yourself is so genuine and the amount of love you have for your friends...it just shows in the way you look at them. It's really cool to be around someone like that." Not really knowing where to look, my eyes fixated on the ground and I couldn't help but question what to say next. "Are you blushing, Miss Regan?" Noah asked, as he lifted his hand to my stupid embarrassed cheek. "Cute." Looking at him, his eyes landed on mine and I swear, in that moment, my heartbeat was the only sound that filled the room.
---
"Okay guys, that is the end of the video. I hope you enjoyed it. Noah, tell them what they've got to do."
"Like, subscribe and comment down below which Sway Boy is next and if this video gets 100,000 likes, I'll do Regan's makeup!" Looking over at Noah with wide eyes, I was completely thrown off by his statement.
"We did not agree on that at all!" I said, lightly pushing him.
"Hey, if you get to do mine, I get to do yours." He bargained, raising his eyebrows.
"Fine." I agreed...hesistantly, looking back towards the camera. "100,000 likes and Noah will do my makeup. Okay, all of Noah's socials will be down below so make sure you go follow him, I occasionally appear on his feed, if you're at all interested and I will see you all in my next video! Bye guys!"
"I'm going to work my ass off to make sure this video gets all the likes." Noah stated, getting up from the chair. "How do I take all this shit off?" Laughing at how uncomfortable he felt, I took his wrist and led him into my bathroom, holding up a cleansing oil.
"Never makeup wipes." I instructed, as if Noah was ever going to be put in this position again.
"I'll keep that in mind." He said, laughing as he turned on the tap. Giving him a thumbs up, I turned around to head out of the bathroom but before I could take a step, I felt water against my back and I stopped in my tracks. "I don't know where you think you're going," Noah began, as I turned to face him. "but you need to make sure I get all of this off."
"Of course I do." I replied, nodding my head. "First thing's first, this is not the easiest way to do this." I said, motioning towards the sink. "It'd probably be best if you did this." Pushing Noah towards the shower, as one with no upper body strength could do, I reached inside and turned on the water, trying to avoid getting wet myself.
"Ohh, it's cold!" Laughing at the high-pitched voice coming from Noah, I couldn't believe I actually managed to do it. Poor boy has lost every sense of the world when he's got makeup on his face. "You get in here." Noah demanded, taking my wrist in his hand and lightly pulling me towards the shower.
"No, Noah, I-" Before I could get any other words out, my hair was drenched and I was now freezing as I stood in the shower with Noah. "So this didn't go exactly as I planned..."
"As if you didn't think I was going to drag your ass in here." Noah said, pushing my wet hair out of my face.
"Yeah...I thought I could out run you...turns out I was wrong...like really wrong." I said, nodding my head as I laughed. "Oh...the mascara is...running all over your face right now."
"Yeah, well so is yours." He said, wiping from beneath my eye.
"Regs-" Turning my head from Noah's direction and towards the door, I saw Tayler standing in the doorway. "Sorry..." He whispered, looking around at the situation Noah and I were currently in. "Um...if we're going to get stuff for Bryce's birthday, we need to go now." He said, throwing his thumb to his shoulder and pointing behind him.
"Right...we said we were going to do that." I said, turning around to turn the water off and stepping out of the shower. "Give me...ten minutes?" Watching as Tayler nodded his head, he left the doorway. "Noah-"
"Go, I think I got it from here." Giving him a thumbs up, I grabbed a towel from the rack and headed to my room to fix the mess I had become.
