Candice smiled as she woke up and got out of bed. She heard mumbling coming from her sister's room making her go see who Caroline was talking to. "Caroline?" She says as she opens the door to see Damon. "Oh." She said turning. "I am so sorry."

"It's fine." Caroline said. "We were just talking."

"Uh huh." She replies. "We have school and cheer practice, but your not even dressed."

Damon watched as the blonde walked out. He wondered why she wasn't suspicious about her sister's attitude. Candice walked downstairs and looked back up wondering why Damon was in her sister's room.she could tell they weren't sleeping together since Caroline was in a shirt. Something's not right.

She arrived at school to see Bonnie on the phone. "Bonnie?"

"Candice, where's your sister?"

"She's at home." She said. "I told her we had to get going, but told me to go on without her."

Bonnie sighed as she looked at Candice. "I tried to warn Elena about Stefan, but she ignored me."

Candice smiled as she looked at her. "Elena is going to be Elena till she is proven wrong. Just let her be."

Bonnie nodded. Candice smiled as she walked into the school as she started thinking about her sister and why Damon was there. Sighing, the blonde went on with her day as she had a lot to do this week. Cheer practice and be prepared for the game.

Elena smiled as she saw Candice, but the blonde was thinking to much about this week. "Candice." She turned and looked at Elena. "I was wondering if you wanted to come by for dinner."

"I don't know." She said. "I mean that if you are having this for just Stefan, I don't need to be there."

"It's actually for Bonnie to know Stefan."

"Oh." The blonde said. "I'll think about it."

Elena smiled as she watched her friend walk away. Candice sighed as she didn't understand why the sudden invite.

After school, Candice was stretching when the others walked out. "Hi Candice."

"Hi." She replied.

Candice continued to stretch when she looked up to see Caroline with Damon. She was confused and walked over to the car as Caroline kissed his cheek. "Candice." Damon said.

"Why are you with my sister?" She asked. "She had school today, but never showed."

"She wanted to stay home." He replies.

"Damon, whatever it is you are doing to my sister, please don't do something stupid." She said as she walked away.

Damon has never heard someone say that to him before. Candice Forbes is definitely different from her sister.

That night, Candice was working on her homework when Caroline walked in with Damon. "We're going over to Elena's." Caroline said. "Come."

"Fine." She replies than stopped. "How did you know about the dinner?"

"Bonnie."

Candice looked at Damon who held a smirk. She followed her sister, but stopped. "Seriously, what are you doing to my sister?"

"Nothing." He said. "Well, that's for me to know and for you to find out."

Candice didn't know what to say, but walked away. Damon wasn't going to tell the blonde that Caroline was his blood bag. She doesn't need to know.

Candice was confused as to why her sister was acting that way. "Caroline, I'm going to stay in the kitchen if this is how your going to act." She said as she stood up. "I don't know what the hell is wrong with you, but you need to stop this."

Before anyone could say a word, Candice left the room. No one didn't say a word. "I didn't mean to upset her."

"Well, I'm going to take this to her." Damon said showing a glass and looked at Elena. "You should consider quitting."

Elena was shocked he said that.

In the kitchen, Candice was humming Mama Mia while she washed dishes. "You missed one."

Candice turned and smiled. "Thanks." She said as he went to give her the glass just for it to fall out of her hand. She watched Damon catch it and smiled. "Nice catch."

"I'm sorry for bringing up Katherine."

"Damon, that's none of my business, but I am sorry." She tells him. "You lost her too."

Damon nodded before he left the kitchen. Candice looked back at him before going back to helping with the dishes.

Game day. The day Candice was looking forward too. She smiled as she was walking through the crowd just to hear her name. "Candice!" She turned to see Elena and Stefan.

"Hey." She said once she walked over and saw Elena. "You quit."

"Yeah."

Candice nodded and looked at them. "What did you two need?"

"To give you this." Stefan said. "Thanks for being my friend."

Candice smiled as she put the necklace on. "I need my sister." She heard and walked away as Caroline was talking to Elena.

Sometime during the game, Candice walked to her car to get her jacket as she was
starting to get a little cold. "Hello, Candice." She turned to see Damon.

"Damon, what are you doing out here?"

"Hiding from your sister."

Candice rolled her eyes. "I love her none the less." She tells him as she put her jacket on.

Damon was watching her leave before an idea popped in her head. "I know what you want."

"What's that?" She asked.

"Me." Candice gave him a confused look. "I can tell that you want me."

"You are so full of yourself." She tells him. "What's next? A kiss."

Damon smirked as he started to compel her. "Kiss me."

Candice kissed his cheek. "Nice try, but your dating my sister." She tells him as she walked away.

Damon stood shocked by what she had just done. Than thought of why she couldn't be compelled. "Vervain."

After the game was canceled due to Mr. Tanner's death, Candice was sound asleep when a figure appeared in her room. Damon walked over to her. Seeing she had hair in her face, Damon moved her blonde her before leaving as she woke up to someone touching her face. Shrugging, Candice went back to sleep.
