Candice sat on her porch wondering how Vicki was doing with her new life. She knew about the search party for the new vampire. She sighed as she walked in and looked at her sister. "Caroline, can you do me a favor of getting my costume. I have something I need to do."

"Sure, but what do you want it to be?"

"I don't care." Candice said. "I'm not that picky."

Caroline nodded as she watched her sister leave. Candice stopped by her car as she breathed in and got in. She was mentally preparing herself for the day. She saw Elena behind her and sighed. This is going to end badly.

Candice walked straight in just to bump into Damon. "Wow little Miss. I'm on a mission. Where are you going so fast?"

"Well one. I came to see Vicki for a bit and two, to let you know that you don't have to be an ass all the time." She said. "Also." Damon looked at the blonde. "Ever lay a hand on my sister again, I will kill you." She tells him as she walked away.

"Candice?"

"Hi, Vicki." She says. "How are you holding up?"

"I'm fine." She says.

"She still has a lot of control to learn." Stefan said. "I need to go get more animal blood."

"Well I came to see you and now that I know you are okay, I will be going. I need to make sure Caroline didn't pick something to revealing." Candice said as she walked away.

Damon saw the blonde and was curious about the blonde, but he can't fall in love with another as his heart is only for Katherine and he will find a way to get her out.

Candice just stared at the little red riding hood costume. "So?"

"Caroline, seriously?" She says. "Why that short?"

"Because you are going to meet someone who likes you. All you need is a little push." Caroline said as she showed the costume. "So?"

Candice grabbed it and walked to her bathroom. She took her clothes off and put the costume on. Caroline smiled as she saw her sister in the costume she picked out. "You look hot."

Candice looked in the mirror and at her sister. "Fine." She said. "You owe me."

"Yay."

At the school dance, Candice didn't exactly go in. She walked to the back of the school so she could be left alone. Caroline's idea of going in there dressed the way she was now. "This isn't me." She said as she heard a noise. "Hello?"

"Vicki, don't."

"Oh no." She mumbled as she ran to see Jeremy about to get fed on. "Vicki, leave him alone." Candice tells her.

Vicki looked at the blonde and disappeared. Jeremy looked at Candice as she screamed out from getting bit. She felt relief and turned to see Stefan. "Are you okay?"

"Get him home." Was all Candice said as she looked at the body of Vicki Donavan.

About an hour later, Damon arrived and saw a dead Vicki. "I see she got you good."Candice turned and glared at him.

"This is all your fault." She says. "I don't know what the hell thinks you can turn someone just for them to die and be calm about it." Damon stood shocked. "That girl was my friend's sister and now he has no one."

"Doesn't it look like I care."

"No, but one of these days when you move on from Katherine, you will care. That woman has you acting out because she isn't here." Candice said as she started to walk away, but stopped. "Damon, I'm sorry for how your life turned out, but your attitude... using my sister...it's nonsense and unexplainable. It's you acting out because you want revenge on Stefan for making you live this life and you want someone to help you find Katherine."

Damon didn't say a word as Candice left. Candice doesn't know what she's talking about.

Candice sighed as she hated to hear about Jeremy. "Elena, he needs to be compelled." She said as she looked at Stefan.

"I'm not strong enough."

Candice nodded as she saw Damon. "I'll do it."

Candice sighed as she was tired and wanting to sleep. She explained to him what Elena wants Jeremy to know and walked away. "Goodnight." She said as Elena smiled at her blonde friend. Damon watched Candice Forbes leave.
