Sixteen

Candice walked through the school hallways thinking of what her next class migh hold. She may go to the grill and study. She heard Elena and Stefan making her turn around and walk away. She was not going to be dragged in the double dating thing as she doesn't have a boyfriend. "Is something wrong with Candice?" Stefan asked.

"I have no clue." She said. "I have to ask Caroline."

Stefan nodded as they went back to talking.

That night, Candice was sitting at the bar talking to Jenna. "I would stay the night, but Elena is on this double date thing with my sister and to be honest. Bad idea."

"Why do you think its a bad idea?"

"Matt and Elena have history." She said. "Somehow, someway, Elena and Matt will start talking about their old relationship."

"Oh."

Kelly sat down a seat away from Candice leaving a seat open for Damon who came in to see Candice Forbes laughing with Kelly Donavan and Jenna Sommers. He walked over and sat beside Candice causing her to look at him. "Thank you, Candice."

"Hey, I was drinking that." She tells him."

"You're underage."

"Doesn't stop me."

Caroline was shocked seeing Candice laughing and joking with Damon. "What is he doing with my sister?"

Stefan and Elena looked to see Damon laughing and talking with Candice. They saw his attention was on the blonde more then Kelly and Jenna. Elena knew that their is one person that might change Damon is Candice, but they didn't know that Candice Forbes was taking notes on Damon as she was starting to learn that he just wanted someone to love. The way he acted out was because of he was used to being hated, he wanted more of that hate.

Candice Forbes knew this was a cry out for someone to love him.
