Candice woke up to see she was trapped in her car. 'No." She said as she tried to get out. The sound of bones breaking into place caught her attention and looked to see the person getting up. "Oh no." She mumbled as she tried to get loose. Candice looked up and screamed before he left.

"Need help."

"Damon!" She said grabbing her chest. "You ass, don't scare me like that."

Damon looked at the seat belt and knew how to get her out. "Put your hands on the roof of the car."

Candice closed her eyes as she did just that and Damon got her free. He helped her out making her smile. "Thank you." She said as she grabbed him.

"Candice, are you okay?"

"Who was that?" Was all she could say before she fainted.
~~~
Candice woke up and noticed she was in Damon's care and looked to her left. "Damon?" She says. "Where are we going?"
"Georgia." He said.
"Did you forget who my mother is?" She said as she looked at him. "The last time I checked she was a cop and this is kidnapping."
"Its not if you are just getting someone out of town and to relax."
Candice nodded, but needed to stretch. "Can you pull over?"
Damon did as she asked. Candice got out and started stretching. She heard her phone and looked at him. "They've been calling." He said as he answered it. Candice looked at Damon as he held her phone out to her making her get in the car. Damon looked at her as she sat in his car waiting.
"Are you coming or not." She says.
"Yeah. No. She doesn't want to talk to you. Bye."
He handed Candice's phone causing her to turn it off. "You are so different from your sister."
"Don't go there."
~~~
"A bar?" Candice said as she looked from the bar to Damon. "You do know my age right?"

"I don't think you care."

Candice looked at him and smiled. "Just for today, I don't care." She tells him. "I want to get drunk and have no worries about the doppelgänger thing that you told me about." Candice sighed. "Why are we even here?"

"To get inside that tomb.'

"Oh god."

Damon looked at the blonde as she walked in. Shrugging, he followed her. When they walked in, Candice was shocked by the woman who walked up to Damon and kissed him. The blonde turned around and walked over to an empty table. She was looking at the menu as Damon walked over and sat across from her. "Having fun?"

"No." She said. "I don't have nothing to drink."

Damon rolled his eyes as he did just that. Candice smiled as she started drinking causing Damon to watch her. Bree watched them and could tell that Damon had feelings for the blonde.

About two hours, Candice was having fun. She wasn't drunk yet, but she was getting there. Damon was in a drink off causing Candice to wipe the drink of his chin. "You don't have to prove that you are a sloppy drinker." She tells him as she smiled. "You look a lot better like this and not with your drink on you."

Damon looked at the blonde as he watched her walk away and out the door.
~~~
Candice heard someone coming as she was taken. She saw Damon and became scared. "Damon!"
Damon looked to see Candice and went to save her before he was attacked. Candice started to make her way to him and stopped when she saw his face. "Why are you doing this?"
"He killed my girlfriend." He said. "She went to visit a friend."
"Lexi." She says. "She was your girlfriend." He nodded. "Listen, I know he deserves to die for what he did to Lexi, but are you willing to scoop down to his level." He just looked at her as Damon wondered what she was doing. "Yes what happened is sad as I almost lost my life for becoming her friend. I watched her die in front of me, but that didn't stop me from seeing the good in him even though he is an ass. Let Damon go. Don't be like him."
Candice smiled as he released Damon making her run over to him and hug him. She looked up. "Thank you."
"Trust me, it wasn't for you."
Candice nodded as she watched him leave.
~~~
Candice smiled as she saw Damon. "You killed her."

"I had a reason."

Candice nodded not knowing the reason was over her.
