Nine

Candice was surprised with the new teacher, but she didn't care what he was saying. The other day was still on her mind. She almost died because she was mistaken as a vampire. "Candice, did you hear me?" Bonnie asked making the blonde look at her.

"Sorry, my mind was on something from the other night."

"I keep seeing Emily." She said. "I think she's trying to tell me something."

Candice looked at her and wondered what Emily was actually wanting from Bonnie. Whatever it was that Emily needs has something to do with that amulet that Damon wants back, but she wondered what he needs that for.

"Caroline, please do this and apologize to Bonnie." Candice said as she packed her a bag for the night. "I've been keeping Damon away from you and been trying, but its no luck."

"Did she say why she can't give it back."

"Yes." Candice says. "Its a family amulet and every time she tries to get rid of it or she's asleep, Emily is trying to tell her something. I think we need to find out more on that amulet."

"Seance."

Candice just gave her a look. "I don't think so."

The twins arrived, but Candice already knew what was going to happen. A fight is bound to happen. "Bonnie threw the amulet away." Elena whispers to Candice.

"Why?"

"She keeps seeing Emily and she thinks its the amulet the reason Emily won't leave her alone."

Candice looked at Elena as they heard fighting. They walked in to see the amulet. "What?" They said.

"I swear she threw it in the fields."

"Caroline, I think your plan from earlier might come into play now."  Candice said making Caroline smile.

Candice knew that this was not going to be fun as this was a seance. Something may happen or it may not work. They walked upstairs and into Elena's room to start the seance.

Caroline had the lights off and candles lit around them. Candice sat between Elena and Bonnie. Candice ignored her sister as she had this cold chill that something bad was going to happen.

What caught her attention was the candles went out. "What just happened?"

"I don't know." Elena said as the lights turned on and there was no necklace.

"Okay, this is getting creepy." Candice said.

"Help me find the amulet."

Candice started looking for the amulet when she heard a door slam shut. She turned and ran to the bathroom. "Bonnie!" She said. "Open up!"

She heard Elena and Caroline trying to get through the other door. Candice fell backwards when the door opened. "Bonnie?"

Bonnie just walked out making Candice followed her when she realized who it was. "Elena, it's Emily."

Candice and Elena finally figured out where Emily was taking Bonnie. The old Fells church. Candice was the last to arrive as she was trying to call her sister. She saw Damon. "Bonnie!" Candice called out as she ran towards her friend as the fire around her disappeared.

"Candice!" Elena and Bonnie screamed as Damon bit into Candice.

Candice fainted as Damon dropped her body and looked at her. Stefan noticed the look on Damon's face. He looked at Candice with guilt before he left.

The blonde sat in her room wiping her tears as she learned from Elena that Stefan was leaving. Her best friend was leaving all because of his brother.
