Candice smiled as she made her way downstairs. She felt like today was going to be a good day, but first she had to go to meet up with Elena and Bonnie, than later she will go see Matt about Vicki. "Candice?"

"Yeah." She replies from her spot in the kitchen. "I'm fixing some homemade juice if you want any."

"Sure." Caroline said. "So, who was that mystery guy you was talking to last night."

Candice shrugged. "Just some guy." She replies.

"Just some guy?" Caroline grabbed her sister's face making her look at her. "Candice, that man was checking you out. I have never seen someone look at a person the way he looked at you. You need to find out more."

"Okay." Candice replies. "I will."

Candice went to the hospital first to see Elena. "Hi." She replies as she hugged Matt. "How's Vicki?"

"She's asleep, but she woke up last night talking about vampires."

"Vampires?" Candice replies as she looked in Vicki's room and back to Matt. "Like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, vampires or Twilight."

"I don't know which one." Matt said chuckling.

"See. I put a smile on your face." Elena smiled as she hugged her friend. Candice felt her phone vibrating and looked at Elena. "There's my cue." She said as she walked away.

Stefan watched the blonde walk by and wondered why she seems familiar. Let's hope Damon doesn't bother her.

Candice stayed quiet as Elena, Bonnie, and Caroline talked about last night. "I'm right here and I don't want to hear about Elena's sex life." She said. "Gross."

"Candice, you are to innocent for your own good."

"What's that supposed to mean?" She asked.

"Nothing. I'm just saying you need to get with someone who will bring out the real you." Caroline said. "Candice, I know your not this sheall of a person. I hate what you had went through, but I want my sister back."

Candice nodded not saying a word. She sighed as she stood up. "I'm going for a walk."

They watched her leave making Caroline sigh. "I didn't mean..."

"We know." Elena said. "I'll see if she wants to come with me."

"Okay."

Candice didn't know why she went with Elena, but she had a feeling that Elena was going to find out the truth about Stefan. "Uh..."

"Come on."

The blonde sighed as she followed Elena in. She looked around her as she has never seen a house like this. "Wow." She said. "This place is amazing."

She didn't see Elena walking away before she heard a scream causing her to turn around. When Candice turned, she bumped into someone and looked to see him. "Damon?"

"You know him."

Damon looked at Elena. "You must be, Elena." He said. "I'm Damon Salvatore." He replies and looks at the blonde. "It's nice to see you, Candice."

"You live here?" She asked as he nodded. "Okay. Is Stefan here?"

"He's busy at the moment." He replies as he looked at Elena. "I'm surprised he moved on after the last one."

"Oh no." Candice replies as she looks at him. "Where is this going and why are you trying to ruin something your brother has?"

Damon grabbed Candice's chin and had her make eye contact. "You will find out why."

"The last one?" She heard Elena asked.

Damon looked back at the blonde and smirked. "Yeah. The last one was tragic."

"What happened?" Elena asked as Candice was still in Damon's hold.

"It was something to do with a fire."

"Elena? Candice?" Stefan said getting Candice to look bat Stefan. "What are you doing here."

"I was going to see if you wanted to hang out." Elena tells him.

"I tagged along." Candice said smiling. She looked at Damon and grabbed his hand. "It was nice seeing you again, but I have to get going."

Damon watched the blonde leave. Stefan looked at Damon not liking how damon was with Candice. "Keep her out of this."

Damon smirked as he was going to enjoy torturing Stefan.

That night, Candice sat in the grill as everyone started to walk in. She was sketching a dress as Caroline sat beside her. "Do I have to ask?" She asked as Caroline looked. "It's not done yet."

"I know, but I like looking." Caroline tells her. "You were always good at this."

Candice smiled as Caroline laid her head on Candice's shoulder. The blonde smiled as she continued to sketch when she heard Jeremy asking about Vicki. "I thought she was still at the hospital."

"She's not. I just came back from checking on her.' Jeremy tells her.

Candice stood up and smiled. "Let's go find her." She tells him.

Everyone left the grill in search of Vicki, but one thing was left on her table. A sketch book that Candice Forbes.

After finding Vicki, Candice walked back into the grill to notice something was missing. Her sketch book. Sighing, she turned to leave as Caroline and Bonnie walked in. Damon watched Candice leave and looked at the book in his hand before seeing Caroline staring. His plan was starting to fall into place.
