Candice woke up and looked around the room to see she was in a hotel. She got up off the floor and slowly moved towards the door as the man on the bed slept. She got to the door and twisted the knob. "Don't do that." Ben said as the door opened revealing Anna.

"I thought I told you to keep an eye on her." Anna said.

"Why am I here?'

"Because you are the only way he will help." She tells Candice and dragged her to the bathroom.

"Bitch." She said and saw her friend. "Bonnie?" She said as she went to her side. She started shaking her causing the witch to wake up.

After she called Stefan threatening to kill Candice, Anna finally saw Damon, but had to agree to go to a party with Jeremy so he would leave. She walked over to him and sat down. "I want your help in getting in that tomb."

"And why should I help."

"I will kill Candice." She tells him.

Just by the look on his face told Anna she had the right girl. Damon was starting to have feelings for Candice Forbes.

Candice and Bonnie snuck out of the bathroom after discussing a plan on how to leave. They reached the door causing Ben to wake up. "Where are you going?"

"Ummm..."

Bonnie started asking for a drink of what that was on the night stand. Candice watched as their plan was fallen into place. Bonnie took a sip before tossing the rest on Ben and setting fire to his arm. Candice opened the door to see Stefan. "Stefan."

Stefan opened the blinds causing Ben to beg them to close the blinds as they left. "How did you know we were here?'

"Damon made a deal to get you back."

Candice stopped as she didn't know why he would do that. She wasn't special or at least thats what she thought.

After she had talked Bonnie into helping earlier, Candice went to talk to Damon. "Damon." She called out as she walked in. Candice stopped as she saw him standing by the bar.

"I'm going to have to change the locks." He said as he looked at Candice. "You staged a jailbreak."

"Nope. Stefan found us."

"Ah. My brother the white night."

"I convinced Bonnie and her grams into helping." She said.

"Not interested."

Candice followed him and took her necklace off. Damon looked at her as she stood in front of her. "You can ask me anything and you know that I will tell you the truth. You have your chance to compel me and you know that what ever you want I will tell, but don't think that I am sorry for not saying a word about the grimoire because I'm not." She tells him. "Compel me to give you the actual answers."

Damon grabbed her necklace and put it back on her. "I know you're telling the truth." He tells her. "Lets go."

Candice walked over to the tomb after Caroline telling her off for never coming home and the fact that she lied to their mother. Damon stood behind Candice as they walked in. Candice didn't say a word as she waited to get this done and over with.

The tomb opened and Damon looked at Candice as Stefan and Elena went to get the supplies they brought. "Are you ready?'

"Say what."

"I'm not going in there with them thinking they could trap me in there."

"Don't take her in."

Candice looked at her friend and smiled. "He needs someone with him so he won't get trapped. I'll be fine."

When Elena walked in, she heard Candice's screams making Stefan go in. "Why was she in there?"

"Damon didn't trust us." Bonnie said as Candice got out, but not Stefan.

"Stefan?"

Candice looked at her friends as they discovered another spell was casted to keep vampires that enter from coming back. She heard Elena begging them to get Stefan out and once they agreed. Candice knew what she had to do. "Candice..."

"I have to get Damon out." She said as she ran in. "Damon." She called out and heard talking. Candice followed his voice and found him. "Damon, we have to get out of here."

"She's not here."

Candice grabbed his face and smiled sadly. "I'm so sorry that she tricked you. You wasted a century trying to get in here just to find out the truth, but there is someone out there that will love you." She tells him as he looked at her. "I promise."

Damon nodded as he grabbed Candice and the two left the tomb. Once they were out, Elena saw the way Damon was looking at Candice. He had someone to love him all along. Candice Forbes.
