Beautiful Escape: Chapter Fifteen

Ajalon.

Waking up in Rio's had to be the best feeling in the world. I'd woken up before him so I was just taking in all his flawless features.

Last night was amazing and even though I was hesitant to tell Rio my hidden demons, something told me everything would be alright.

I still had to tell him about the group home but I didn't want to overwhelme him in one night.

To say I'm on cloud nine would be an understatement because this feeling is euphoric. All of the hurt and pain I've been through brought me to this moment and I believe my mom sent Kario to me, just the thought of my mother brought a smile to my face.

"What'chu thinking about toots?" Kario's voice interrupted my thoughts.

I turned to face him rubbing his tattoo covered chest. "Everything sort of."

"Everything like what?" He pulled me in closer.

"You, my mom, everything with my dad."

Kario sighed kissing my forehead. "Everything is gonna be okay, my love."

Hearing him say those words melted my heart. Rio was everything and more to me and at this moment I knew I never wanted to lose him.

"Shouldn't we be getting ready for school?"

Rio shrugged. "We could but that means we would have to move."

"Babe, I can't miss school." I bit the inside of my lip. "And you can't keep missing practice on account of me."

"Its just one day toots and break starts in two more days."

"So, get up." I playfully smacked his chest.

As I stood up, there was a sharp pain between my legs and they were so sore.

"Fuck, it hurts." I winced with each step I took.

I caught Rio smirking as he watched me struggle to move.

"You need some help?" The smile on his face in turn made me blush.

Before last night I dreamed of having sex with him but to actually loose my virginity to him was nothing like my dreams. Although he was gentle and catered to my every need, his penis was way bigger than my virgin walls could stand.

"Not if you're going to laugh, asshole." I shot back leaning against the wall.

"I'm sorry baby but that walk you doing right now is fucking hilarious."

I stuck out my tongue and he laughed harder. I slipped on my clothes from yesterday and Rio let me barrow a new toothbrush. As we walked downstairs Ms. Davis stood at the kitchen table setting dishes on the table and pouring orange juice. As soon as she saw me, she rushed over and engulfed me in a hug.

"Ajalon sweetie, I'm so sorry to hear what you've been through." She hugged me even tighter.

I didn't know what to say so I just hugged her back. She sat me down and did so herself with her hands folded in front of her.

"Where have you been staying? At home?" She fired off questions.

I bit my lip. "No ma'am, the day my father reported my car stolen. He told the police he wanted nothing to do with me, telling them I was a trouble maker and I was placed in a group home with about seven other girls."

Rio looked at me, I'd forgotten to mention that part last night.

"Almost a month ago?" He questioned.
