Beautiful Escape: Chapter Twenty

Kario.

"Tell me what I'm hearing ain't true my nigga." Chevy said walking up to me while Blake and I were in weight lifting.

"Depends on what you heard." I said dropping the bar bell and taking my earbud out of ear and giving him my full attention.

"That you fucked Amber." Kenny one of our teammates interpted.

"Hell nah." I snapped. "Fuck make you believe some nasty shit like that?"

"Because she told Kim, and we all know that broad got the biggest and loudest mouth at Central."

"That bitch lyin' I took her home a long ass time ago because her fucking car wouldn't start and besides that night at the party, I ain't seen that hoe since."

"Well you better let Aja know that before word get back to her." Chevy warned.

"She ain't gon' bu'lee that bullshit."

He raised his eyebrow. "I'on know bruh, Kim got everybody else convinced you did."

"Damn, I can't ever go nowhere and be lowkey without somebody fucking wit' me." I sighed picking up the bar bell again.

"All I'm saying is tell her the truth before somebody tell her different."

"Aight, I he'a you."

They went back to where ever they came from and I finished my class, took a shower then went to find Aja. I knew she was in Trig, so I went to her class and opened the door. Everybody looked up and me and some broads I knew smiled. When I saw Aja, she mouth what was I doing here?

"Excuse me but I need to speak with Ajalon Cooper, it's rather important. One of her relatives is in the hospital."

"Alright Ajalon, hurry up."

She stood from her seat and hurried out of the classroom.

"Kario what the hell is going on?" She said in a panic.

I smiled and kissed her lips. "Everything straight but I needed to talk to you 'bout something."

She crossed her arms and looked up at me. "What's wrong?"

"Look ya' home girl Amber telling everybody I fucked her, it's not true and I needed to be the first one to tell befo' you heard from somebody else."

"I believe you, and I'll handle it if I hear it babe."

I looked at her skeptical. "That's it? You'll handle it?"

"Yup." She smiled then kissed my lips. Just as she was about to walk back to but I caught her arm.

"You a luh bit crazy ain't you?"

She smiled then kissed my lips. "Go back to class foo."

She walked back in class and I went back to the weight room to grab my bag. I ain't know the hell Aja had up her sleeve but her ass might be just a luh' bit crazy.

Ajalon.

"What was that all about?" My classmate Ginger asked as I returned to my seat.

Ginger and I weren't exactly friends because she just moved here from Detroit. She embodied every bit of a black girl, she just so happened to be white. It was funny because I, myself wish I had her booty. Her slightly tan arms were covered in tattoos and bright red hair was styled in a blunt bob cut with a middle part, it was cute on her though.

"A bunch of drama, I don't wanna deal with." I said exhaling.

"I know what'chu mean. I haven't even been an entire month yet and some bitch name October is starting shit already."
