"Y/N!"
"WHAT?" I replied to Lexi, I was too lazy to get up.
I heard footsteps approaching my door. I smiled knowing I had won since she hated us talking that loud.
"Do you still want to come to the party? I mean, you've already talked to Harry. And you'll be leaving me soon, so why not?"
"Meh."
"Don't meh me! I know you're not the life of the party, but it's one of the things we have to do in college and I'll miss when you're touring all around the world." She pouted.
"I'm just so excited about finally being with Harry."
"Then tell me a better way to celebrate!" She exclaimed, jumping on my bed.
"Okay, okay. But I want to come home early." I replied, smiling.
"Yay! You're coming!" She shouted, hugging me.
"We should have dinner and get ready soon." I announced, looking at my watch.
"Yes. Yes. Let's watch an episode of Supernatural while having dinner."
"No way. I'm gonna think everyone at the party is a demon. Let's watch something funny."
"Like Modern Family?" She suggested.
"Sounds good to me! And I've been thinking-"
"Oh no. This sounds like you're about to break up with me." She interrupted.
"No! I just want pizza!" I laughed.
"Let's hurry up and order. We need to arrive fashionably late to the party." She said in a British accent, before leading me to the living room.

After sharing an extremely large pizza, we got ready to leave.
"Where are we going anyway?" I asked, grabbing a jacket and my car keys.
"Some house party so I suppose lots of cute guys will be there." She replied, reapplying lipstick.
"I hope they're not all douches." I sighed, leaning on the doorframe.
"Hopefully they'll all be like your beloved Jake."
"First of all, he's not mine. I'm over the moon with Harry. I just like him because he seems really sweet and when he wears glasses it just adds more to his overall cuteness. He's like the perfect guy for you."
"He looks a bit nerdy. I'm more into jocks."
"All jocks are dicks." I stated, raising my eyebrows.
"That's not true! I bet one out of a hundred is a total sweetheart."
"If you're lucky." I muttered under my breath.
"Okay, all done! We're just going to have fun." Lexi reminded as she locked the door.

"Turn left here. So it has to be one of these houses. Oh, look! Over there, there's people outside." Lexi indicated, reading the directions some dude had texted her.
I parked a bit further away from the house to protect my car from the drunks. Lexi started questioning my decision, but I just ignored her and walked into the house.

"Y/N, Lexi! Glad you could make it!" Some dude greeted at the door.
"How does he know my name?" I whispered to her as we walked past him.
"I don't know him either." She laughed.
We walked towards the snack table and got a couple of beers from a bucket filled with ice.
"Good thing this is mixed with lemon. Nearly 1%." I said, inspecting the bottle.
I looked over at Lexi to find that she had vanished. I rolled my eyes setting the extra bottle in the bucket again. I heard guys yelling and walked past them in the kitchen playing beer pong.
I went to the backyard, attracted by some dangling lights they had put up. And yet again there was another little crowd of people playing beer pong. I looked around to see if Lexi was around and discarded texting her because I knew it would be useless. She was nowhere to be seen.
I sighed and spotted an empty seat. I sat down, looking up at the stars as I took a sip of beer.
"Y/N, right?" He asked. This face, I recognized.
"Yeah. And you're Jake, if I'm not mistaken?" I smiled.
"The one and only. What are you doing here all by yourself?" He questioned, taking a seat next to me.
"Well, my friend ditched me and I was taking a look around."
"Yeah, same. My friends are the loud ones playing beer pong." He sighed.
"Not much of a player, are you?"
"No, not at all. I don't see the fun in getting drunk, honestly."
"I feel you. Want another beer?" I asked.
"I'll go. Just save my seat!" He exclaimed, before mixing himself in the crowd.

Jake came back with two beers and sat next to me again.
"And one for the pretty lady." He said, handing me one.
"Thanks." I blushed.
"You don't look like a party girl, no offense."
"I'm not. I don't like these types of places because I don't feel like they're where I'm supposed to be all the time. Like I don't mind going out on a Friday, just not every Friday." I laughed.
"Yeah, me too. My friends sort of dragged me here. I've been dealing with breakup and I can't feel like I can move on."
"I'm sorry. But I think your friends are right in that sense. When did it happen?"
"Three months ago. I probably sound stupid saying it."
"Not at all, Jake. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have brought it up. You'll find another girl that'll treat you right, I'm sure of it. Lexi's always complaining about guys nowadays and you sound like a complete gentleman."
"Thanks. She said you were really nice."
"Wait, you talked to her?"
"Yeah, in class. She said you two would come here."
"That's weird, I-" I stopped myself, thinking how she knew I would go.
"Is anything wrong?" He asked, placing his hand on my back.
I shook my head, trying to forget about it.
Someone shouted Jake's name from the crowd.
"I'll be right back, I don't know what they want." He smiled before leaving.
I decided to call Harry in the meantime.
"Baby?"
"I love you." I giggled.
"Me too. Are you okay?"
"Yeah. I just want to let you know." "You sure you haven't had anything to drink?" He laughed.
"How dare you?" I questioned dramatically.
"Sounds like you're tipsy."
"No I'm not. I only drank two beers."
"Listen, I have to go. I'll see you soon, I hope. We'll talk about dates for you to come. I love you."
"I want everyone to know your my boyfriend, Harry." I whispered.
"Soon. Y/N. I promise. Don't forget about me at that party I suppose you're at. I'll beat up whoever lays a hand on you."
"I won't. Talk to you later, love. Bye." I spoke before he hung up.
I walked into the house again, searching for a bathroom. I went upstairs, opening doors as I went, trying to find what I was looking for and what I found left me in shock.
