"Lexi?" I choked.
"What are you doing here? How'd you get in?" I questioned.
Where was Mike when I needed him?
"Can't your best friend come visit?" She replied with a giggle.
That giggle I thought was sweet before sounded sarcastic and even fake.
"What do you want." I demanded, emotionless.
"Well you haven't been answering my calls.." She lead on, putting my hair behind my ear.
I hated when she did that. I put it back over my ear, annoyed.
"Whatever you have to say, say it quick. I need to leave." I hurried, but I kept a blank tone.
"Well if you put it that way.." She replied drily.
I could hear the boys saying their goodbyes and I knew we would have to dash soon.
"Just get to the point!" I exclaimed, frustrated.
"God, Y/N. When have you become so impatient?" She huffed.
I stared at her, my lips pressed into a thin line. Mike showed up after.
"Who are you?" He asked Lexi, alarmed.
"Her best friend." She replied, offended.
The boys showed up after and Harry and I had to be the first to leave. "Bye." I called out before Harry took my hand and ran to the exit.
There was no time to chat until we got in the car.
"Why was she here?" Harry questioned sternly.
"I don't know. She wanted to tell me something but she taking a million years to say it so she lost her chance." I explained.
Mike turned around to face us.
"Did you let her pass through security though?" He asked, concerned.
I shook my head.
"Why weren't you there?" Harry attacked Mike.
"He was talking a break." I told him.
"How could you let that happen, Mike? Anything could've happened to Y/N! She's your fucking responsibility!" Harry cried out.
I put my hand on my chest to calm him down.
"Harry. It's not his fault. It's the other security guards' fault for letting her in the backstage area." I defended.
Harry looked furiously at me, but he gave some thought to what I said.
"He still shouldn't have been on break." Harry quieted down.
I gave him a disappointed look, which made him look out the window.
"Haz, don't be unfair." I whispered, my hand meeting his.
He said nothing the rest of the way.

The elevator ride with Harry and Mike was also awkward, but I was glad Harry still held my hand. When we got to our floor, Harry starting walking directly to our room.
"Wait. I want to talk to Mike." I stopped.
"Okay, see you in our room." He replied, kissing me goodbye.
"Bye." Mike said, making himself noticeable.
Harry waved his hand at him and left.
"Well I wish you the best of luck in your life." Mike started.
"Woah, why are you saying that? Are you leaving?" I asked, panicky.
"No. But I supposed you wanted to be the one to fire me for today." He replied.
I shook my head at his last few words.
"Of course not! Nobody's gonna fire you, Mike. You're my bodyguard so I choose what happens to you. And I definitely don't want you to leave. You have a family to take ca-" I started.
"If you're not doing it because of that, don't worry about me. I'll find another job." He interrupted.
"No! I don't want you to leave. I like having you here. You remind me of my dad." I confessed, looking at the floor.
"Come here." He said, opening his arms.
I hugged him for a while. Because at that moment, I let out so many bottled feelings. I missed my parents, my house, having a friend, a life without paparazzi, going to uni, having zero real responsibilities.
And Mike said nothing, he just held me.
"I'm here. Don't worry. I'm staying." He said in my ear.
"Thank you." Was all I could say.

"Harry, I'm back." I called out as I entered our room.
I found him on the sofa, scribbling away.
"I'm here. Writing." He said, not even looking up from his journal.
He was startled when I sat next to him.
"What about?" I wondered.
"Um. It's called Olivia." Harry spoke, finally looking at me.
"So, you found yourself a new girl?" I joked with a giggle.
"Of course not. I just liked how the name went with the song. Take a look." He replied, hanging his notebook over to me.
"Is this about-" I started.
"You. Yes, definitely." He replied, finishing my sentence.
"You know, today when I found out that you were alone when Lexi got in I." He stopped abruptly, looking at the ground.
"What is it?" I asked, putting my hand on his back.
"I just. So many things ran through my head. Even the worst. And I don't think you realize how much you mean to me. And after tonight, I was able to write this song." Harry explained.
I was so moved by what he said, I put a hand over my mouth, shaking my head.
"Harry, you don't have to worry about me like that. I'm fine. I'm here. And just so you know I love you to bits. You mean so much to me, I never want to let you go." I poured my heart out, putting his notebook to the side to hug him.
"Wait. That's it. Don't let me go." He said a while into our embrace.
I looked at him, puzzled.
He beamed at me, nodding as he grabbed the notebook.

"Wake up." Harry sang into my ear. I turned to hug him, but I couldn't open my eyes.
"Come on, babe. It's our last day in Birmingham." He insisted, poking my side.
"No. I wanna stay in bed all day." I groaned.
He chuckled in response.
I rubbed my eyes to make it easier to open them.
"The weather's horrible." I pointed out, looking out the window.
"It's not that bad." He replied.
"You know I hate the rain." I whined, pouting.
"Maybe we could stay in today. What do you say? A film and junk food?" He suggested, pulling me closer to him.
"I would love that." I smiled, closing the space between us.
"So let's sleep a little longer. Please?" I asked him, our bodies tangled.
I felt him nod as I played with his hair.

We spent the rest of our lazy day together. I couldn't even remember the last time we spent some quality time. In the early afternoon, he had to leave for rehearsals.
"You coming with me?" He asked from the bathroom, when he finished showering.
"No. Not today." I replied, still in bed. "You're gonna study for that exam, right?"
"Yeah, the exam's tomorrow. It's an online test but I still have to study. I bet they put little time so you can't look at your notes." I laughed.
But I was actually nervous. I had never done one of those, I didn't know what I would be facing the next morning.
"You've got this!" He exclaimed.
I smiled at his happy mood. He always got like this when One Direction had a concert.
"I'll be back at about-" Harry started.
"I'll be sleeping." I shrugged.
He pecked me goodbye. I decided to get to work. A few hours later, there was a knock on my door.
