A crack of sunlight peeking between the curtains woke me up. I didn't mind it. I love how the afternoon sun still shone brightly and brought warmth to our bodies. Harry was cuddled up to me, fast asleep.
I escaped his grasp and walked over to the window. I opened the curtains just enough for me to stick my head through them and look up at the sky.
I frowned as I saw it was covered with gray clouds. I smiled as I spotted the same ray of light, capable of getting through the clouds the same way it was able to get through our curtains.
I looked over my shoulder to see Harry peacefully staring back at me.
"How long have you been awake?"
"Since my cuddle buddy left me." He pouted.
"And may I add that you look very attractive standing there only in your underwear." He chuckled.
A shy giggle escaped my lips.
"Come here, please. I want to cuddle." He pleaded.
He uncovered himself so I could get in next to him.
"That's more like it." He said, breathing in.
"Not that I'm complaining, but why have you been acting like this lately?"
"I realize that I miss you in the smallest things. Like now. I normally wake up without you by my side and now that you're here I don't want that to happen. I want to enjoy your presence as much as possible."
I didn't reply.
I had judged him too quickly. He missed me. Every day. I hugged him, hiding my face in his chest.
"What are you being shy about?" He asked.
I looked at him, taking a strand of his long hair in my hand.
"I don't deserve you. You're the best guy in the world."
"How would you know? I'm the only guy you've dated." He joked, trying to take the seriousness out of what I had said.
"That's why. I don't need to date a million guys to know that they're all douches." I laughed.
"I love you." Harry confessed, looking into my eyes, bringing back the seriousness he wanted to avoid moments earlier.
"Happy anniversary, Harry. I love you too." I said, kissing him softly.
"Shall I make breakfast?" Harry suggested.
"No, let's stay in bed a while longer." I replied, laying down right by his side and hugging him.
He smiled as he ran his fingers along my bare back.
"I'm actually a bit hungry." He laughed.
"Well you'll have to make a sacrifice for me." I giggled, sticking my tongue out at him.
"I'm sorry I won't be able to make it tonight. Or maybe even this afternoon. We have to do a sound check at 7:30." He sighed.
"It's okay, Haz. It's not anybody's fault. We just happened to fall in love while you were touring."
"I know but-"
"No. I'm fine. It's actually okay. I know it's our anniversary and it's a special day, but we can make any other day special. Maybe tonight?" I smiled, raising a brow.
"I'll try to come home as soon as possible. I promise."
"Let's have breakfast in bed?" I suggested.
Harry's face lit up.
"Yes! And let's watch a film, please."
"Okay, but just one." I replied, laughing.
I sat on the edge of the bed, looking for my slippers.
"No. I said I wanted to make breakfast. Just pick the movie." He said, pulling me back to the center of the bed.
"I want cereal, please!" I yelled for him to hear me from the kitchen, turning on the TV.

After breakfast and the movie, we stayed hugging each other.
"Y/N, do you mind if I do something?" Harry asked.
"What is it?"
"Give you my present now?"
"No, I was going to buy yours today. I feel awful."
"Babe, it's okay, I understand. You just got here. But I don't want a gift. All I need is you."
"But that's not fair. I can never keep up with you and your gifts." I pouted.
"Y/N, don't buy me anything." Harry insisted.
"I'm going to anyway." I replied, rolling my eyes at him.
"No, don't. Don't do it or I'll get angry." He warned.
"You're really not being fair." I said, serious.
I pulled away from him, staring at the ceiling.
"Come on. Don't be like that." He soothed, resting his head on my chest.
I didn't reply.
"Babe. I'll be fine without a present. But if you feel like buying me one, go ahead. I just don't want you to worry about me." He stated, nuzzling up to me.
"You know I can't stay mad at you for long." I smiled.
"So I can give it to you?" He said excitedly.
I nodded.
As he walked over to the closet.
"Oh and I want to do something else to. I just wanted to ask if you're okay with it before I actually do it." He added, rummaging through the closet.
"Okay. What are you looking for?"
"I hid it pretty well. But now I can't find it." He chuckled.
"Didn't you put it there recently? How can you not remember?" I laughed.
"No. I bought it like 5 months ago."
"What? I'll never be able to make up for it then. How did you know we were gonna make it to today?"
"I don't know, I just did. Found it!" He exclaimed.
