I waited with Mike at the VIP area. The show was about to start and I looked around, searching for Lexi and her +1.
"She has to be here somewhere." I mumbled, standing on my tiptoes to get a better look.
Mike decided to walk around, just to make sure. I agreed so we went around looking for Lexi. But no luck. She wasn't anywhere to be seen. 5 Seconds of Summer had already started playing, so she would have to be there if she wanted to see the boys perform.
I sighed as we walked back to our seats. I kept my eyes on the ground, being careful not to step on anyone. A guy's hand caught my eye. He had the same hand tattoo as Liam.
"Did you see that?" I asked Mike, catching up to him.
"What was it?" He replied, vigilant.
"No. It wasn't anything dangerous. Just a guy with a tattoo exactly the same as Liam's. Quite interesting." I laughed.
"Please don't do that again. I was worried!" He replied, relieved.
We watched 5 Seconds of Summer do their last two songs and watched One Direction introduce themselves.
I told Mike I wanted to go retrieve my camera from Harry's dressing room to take pictures of them on stage. He led the way and waited outside. I looked through my things and found what I was searching for. But a loud noise interrupted my thoughts. It was coming from the room next door. I rushed to find Mike outside, impassive.
"Did you hear something next door?" I asked him, panicking.
"No. They're cleaning Liam's dressing room. That's all. I saw the cleaning ladies go in there." He informed.
"Oh. It did sound like they were moving furniture. I thought someone was stealing or something." I breathed.
"Do you want me to check, just in case?" He offered.
"No. I mean if you saw them go in there. They must be deep cleaning." I guessed, giggling.

After the concert, Harry and I planned lunch for the next day on our ride back to the hotel.
"I don't mind where going, I just want to be with you." I smiled, resting my head on his shoulder.
"You know I'm pleased with anything. Did you take any nice photos of me?" He asked, kissing my head.
I grabbed the camera from my side to show him.
"Oh, you got really close to the stage there." He laughed.
"Oh, yeah. I was beside the bodyguard. They didn't mind as long as I only took pictures. I think they thought I was a photographer." I chuckled.
"How could they not know who you were?' Harry exclaimed.
We both burst into laughter.

But when we got into bed, I couldn't fall sleep that night. Harry was also awake. He still had the adrenaline from the concert, so he left his bedside lamp on. He was scribbling away in his notebook. I turned to face him, watching as the blank pages were filled up with words.
Harry glanced over at me with a smile, but he furrowed his eyebrows when he saw my eyes were open.
"Why aren't you sleeping?" He asked, his free hand tangled in my hair.
I shrugged, sighing.
He set his notebook aside and cuddled up to me. I hugged him, pulling him closer to me.
"Please tell me what's going on." He whispered into my neck.
"I'm tired of things not going our way. We keep on trying but new problems appear. And when it feels like we're about to end this whole situation with Lexi, nothing happens. We think we're gonna catch her, but she's always one step ahead of us. I don't know what she wants out of all this." I confessed.
Harry left a trail of kisses down my neck.
"It concerns me as well, but we can't let it get to us. Like you said, she wants something and we can't let her get closer to her objective. And I'll always be here to protect you, alright?" He reassured, holding my face in his hands.
We stared into each other's eyes for a while longer before closing the gap between our lips.
"We're gonna get to the bottom of this, baby." Harry promised.

The next day, we went out for lunch as planned. We would finally show off our tattoos publicly. At the concert the night before, mine wasn't very noticeable since the spotlight was on the boys. Harry's probably did not go unnoticed.
"Let's go! Today's our last day in Manchester!" Harry hurried as I finished dressing.
As we opened the door to leave, there was someone who was just about to knock on it.
"Mike." I said, startled.
"Hi. I need to tell you both something." Mike informed.
"Can't it wait? We're about to leave." Harry replied.
"Well I prefer to tell you now. It won't take long." Mike insisted.
I nodded, waiting for him to continue.
"Well, I was upset we didn't catch Ms. Fausse yesterday so I looked for her in the camera footage. She did go. She was in the bathroom most of the time and then she was trying to get in backstage. I can show you the footage if you like." He explained, lifting up a laptop.
Harry and I looked at each other.
"Sure, why not." I invited Mike in.
It was all fast forwarded so it the video wasn't very long. But Mike was right, Lexi had only been in those two places the whole night. She wasted all that money and she didn't even bother watching the show? Rich people never failed to surprise me. "What's the reasoning behind this?" Harry asked, the same thing probably on his mind.
"The only thing I can think of is that she wanted to confront you, Y/N." Mike said truthfully.
"But why? What did I ever do to her?" I sighed. I was getting sick of her games.
"I don't know. Maybe the only way to end this is talking to her." He replied.
"I'm not so convinced. Lexi loves attention. We all know that." Harry considered.
"Well, you two should straighten that out. I just came by to tell you this. You two enjoy yourselves at lunch." Mike told us before leaving.

"I wanted to tell you something before." Harry confessed as our dessert arrived.
