"You did a pretty good job out there! Didn't they Lux?" Lou exclaimed.
I hid behind Harry. He had a special bond with Lux and I didn't want to interfere.
"Look, Lux. This is my girlfriend, Y/N." Harry explained, as she jumped into his arms.
"Hi." I smiled.
"You're pretty." She said, touching my hair.
"Thank you. But not as much as you." I giggled.
She extended her arms toward me, indicating she wanted me to carry her. I granted her wish and played with her until the break was over.
"You wanna go see Uncle Harry perform?" I asked her.
Her eyes lit up the same way Harry's had when I mentioned her name.
"You have to ask Mommy first." I indicated.
She ran over to Lou, who nodded as Lux jumped up and down.
"You're pretty good with children." Harry said to me before leaving.
I smiled at him.
We stayed looking at each other until I felt a tug on my arm.
"Let's go!" Lux yelled excitedly.
I waved goodbye to Harry as he went on stage. I told Mike we wanted to go have a seat to watch the boys and he led us there.
"Y/N!" I heard people scream.
I turned to see fans recognizing me.
I said hello to the people nearest to me but I couldn't do much more since I was carrying Lux.
"Come on, they're gonna start soon." Mike informed me.
I hurried to our spot and sat down with Lux on my lap.

Before they did the last song, Mike told me we had to leave. He had told me earlier that once the show was over, we had to rush.
I did as told and made my way back to where we had come from. I said goodbye to some fans that saw Lux and I leave.
Once we got to the backstage area, I led Lux back to her mom.
"Did she behave?" Lou asked me, hugging Lux.
"Oh yeah, definitely. I wouldn't mind babysitting her again." I laughed.
"Well I'm sure we'll see each other around." Lou pointed out.
"Yeah, it's true. You have an amazing daughter." I smiled.
"Y/N, we should get going. The boys are almost done." Mike interrupted.
I nodded and hugged Lux.
"See you soon, girls!" I waved, before almost running to the exit.
"Alright, it's gonna be paparazzi infested out there. Just keep walking forward. Harry will lead the way and I'll be right behind you." Mike ordered.
I nodded.
Soon after that, the boys rushed in. Harry was the first to leave so he took my hand and headed for the door.
Man, Mike was right. I couldn't see darkness although it was the middle of the night. It seemed as though there was a cloud of flashes surrounding us. All of them wanted to speak to us. But then one of them yelled something that made me freeze.
I tugged on Harry's arm, turning around.
"Y/N, you have to keep moving." Mike whispered.
I looked at the photographer in the eye.
"Tell him! Tell us all! Who is he? Who's Jake?" He yelled.
Harry had also turned around, to see why I had stopped walking. A shiver ran down my spine. How did he know? I wanted to ask him, but Mike instited I got into the car.
I sat down next to Harry, while Mike sat in the front.
"Y/N, what did we talk about before? No stopping. Even if what they say catches your attention. No stopping." Mike scolded.
I nodded, unable to say a word. Harry hugged me, making me feel safe.
"It's okay." He assured, kissing my head.
"Who was that guy anyway? I love how they make stuff up." Harry laughed, incredulous.
"Harry, I-" I started.
"Jake." Harry laughed, shaking his head.
I gulped.
He looked up to see I wasn't laughing.
"Wait-" Harry said, noticing my seriousness.
"I can explain." I interrupted.
He looked at me, waiting for an answer.
"I do know Jake. I just don't know why they're relating him to me. He was Lexi's ex. That's all." I spoke nervously.
"I hate how media twists everything." Harry sighed, looking out the window.
Birmingham was illuminated by specks of light.
"We can't let it get to us." I reminded, taking his hand.

When we got to our room, I threw myself on our bed.
"I'm so tired." I yawned.
"I'm full of energy, actually." Harry laughed, lying next to me.
We both stayed quiet for a moment, catching our breath. He turned to his side to look at me.
"Louis told me you're good at writing. We're gonna have a little writing session, wanna come?" He invited.
I shook my head.
"That's more of a band meeting. Besides, I need to start doing some homework. I'm probably really behind." I added, looking over at him.
"I want to write a song. With you." He smiled.
I bit my lip, considering the idea.
"I can't. I have to catch up with uni. I'm one step away from graduating." I explained.
"I know. And you're gonna do great." He replied, hugging me.
"I should get going to Liam's room then." He announced, getting up.
I pouted as he stood at the foot of the bed.
"I'll be back soon. I promise." He said, sealing his promise with a kiss.

I went to the couch and got to work. I wanted to do as much as I could before Harry came back. A few minutes after I got to work, I heard the door.
"That didn't last too long." I laughed to look back at Harry, who hadn't said a word.
"Can you explain this?" He replied furiously, turning on the television.
