I grinned at his scowl.
"It was a joke, Haz." I assured.
"Right." Harry muttered.
I smiled at him when my phone rang. Man, I should've changed her name a while ago. I ignored it, but she didn't hang up.
"Y/N, your phone's ringing." Niall pointed out.
"Yeah, it's.. Your bestie?" Harry said, reading the screen.
"Wait-" Liam said, realizing who it was.
"I'm not your bestie?" Harry interrupted.
"Yeah, we were all definitely thinking that." Louis replied sarcastically.
"I don't want to talk to her. What does she want from me now?" I huffed.
"Maybe she wants to say sorry?" Liam indicated.
"No, Lexi is too conceited to say sorry. Besides, what would she say sorry for? Making her famous?" I said, shooting down his idea.
Meanwhile, my phone kept ringing.
"So you're not going answer?" Niall laughed.
I shrugged.
"You've got to decide quickly. I don't think she'll be waiting forever." Louis noted.
I looked at Harry, searching for an answer.
"Do whatever you want." He whispered, kissing my forehead.
I watched as my screen lit up again. Memories of us as kids flashed before my eyes. Should I pick up or not?
I shook my head, waiting for the screen to go black again.
"I don't wanna hear what she has to say. She's done enough." I decided.
"Yeah, she should back off." Liam agreed.
"Bitch!" Louis finished.
We all laughed.
"I should really leave now. You boys have to finish writing." I told them, picking up my notebook from the table.
"No! We're gonna have lunch now. Stay with us." Niall replied.
Harry held me back so I couldn't even take a step more.

After lunch, the boys were going to go to the arena for rehearsals. Harry and I went back to our room to get ready. I sat on the sofa and switched on the television.
"Will she have more to say? Tune in tomorrow to watch her interview." A lady's voice invited.
A video of Lexi talking on the screen appeared. No, not again. What was she gonna make up this time? And was why she even calling me earlier? To tell me she was gonna talk some more?
I huffed as I turned off the TV.
"What's that?" Harry asked, emerging from our room.
He walked over to me to talk to me face to face. He was wearing jeans and his shirt was unbuttoned.
"She's having another interview." I sighed, pointing at the screen.
Harry sat next to me to soothe me.
"Are you still coming to the concert?" He asked.
"What are the fans gonna think of me this time? Maybe I should just hang low until all of this is over." I sniffed.
"It'll never be over, babe. They're always gonna try to make a big deal or even make something up. I wouldn't be worried about the fans though. If they love me, they've got to love you. Most importantly in the bad moments." Harry smiled.
"But you're you, Harry. The charming boy they've loved since 2010. I'm just plain me. I've barely been introduced into their lives." I explained.
"They'll love you. Just like last night. If not, I'll be very upset." Harry argued.
"No. I don't want to cause more drama. Especially between you and your fans. That's not how I want to be remembered." I fought back.
He smirked at me. Oh god. He had an idea. But what was it?
"Harry, what are you going to do?" I nervously asked him.
"Oh. Nothing." He replied, taking a seat on the far end of the sofa.
I scooted closer to him, trying to look over his shoulder. He typed something quickly and looked me in the eye as he pressed a button. I didn't even hide it at this point.
I snatched his phone away from him to read his screen. Shock, surprise, anger, confusion. So many feelings at once.
Harry had tweeted, asking if I should go to the concert. Instantly after, he had gotten thousands of replies. Once I saw the majority of them said yes, I looked back at him.
"Why did you do this?" I asked.
"I wanted to show you that they care. They love you." Harry responded with a grin.
"Haz, it really wasn't nece-" I started. But he cut me off with a kiss.
"Please come." He whispered, resting his forehead on mine. He knew I was putty in his hands.

At the arena, I met 5 Seconds of Summer, who had done their soundcheck when it was the One Direction's turn. I introduced myself but they already seemed to know me.
"Yeah, you're the girl Harry talks about all the time." Ashton told me.
I smiled at the thought.
"Well we've got to get ready. See you around?" Calum said.
"Sure thing. Good luck out there." I smiled as they waved goodbye.
Mike soon appeared by my side.
"They're about to let them in anytime now." He informed me.
I supposed he was talking about the audience. I watched the boys on stage. Louis and Niall were running around while Liam talking to Harry.
"Isn't someone gonna tell them they have to stop fooling around?" I asked him, laughing.
"Probably not." He chuckled.
I told him my problem with Lexi since Harry wasn't around. Maybe Mike knew what I had to do to face her.
"Yeah, I agree with Harry. Just ignore her." Mike replied.
I sighed deeply, knowing Lexi didn't give up that easily. We didn't talk any more on the subject because the boys were almost done.
"How'd it go?" I asked them as they left the stage.
"Great. Didn't you see us?" Harry replied.
"Yeah." I lied, smiling to try to hide it.

I hung around backstage until the show ended. Luckily, this time I wasn't called onto the stage. We all knew the drill after the show ended, we had to get out of there as fast as possible.
The boys were doing one last song before they left. I stayed watching from afar. Mike was taking a break and Lou had already left, so I was alone. When I watched them sing, it felt like nothing else in the world mattered. They transported you to another dimension, a place so sweet and full of emotion.
I was so into it, that I was startled when someone tapped on my shoulder.
"Y/N, dear." They said.
I turned around to see who it was. No. It couldn't be.
