"I thought I told you to leave?" Lexi demanded.
"Y/N, I feel like I need to say sorry. I was only looking to give my family a better future. I didn't know it would all lead to this. I'm truly sorry and I hope you'll forgive me someday. I actually enjoyed being your bodyguard and I blew it. Thank you for being so nice to me. I wish you the best." Mike confessed.
Just as he was about to leave, I went with my gut and hugged him. He apologized again while I was in his embrace and then he left, dragging Lexi behind him.

I opened the fridge, inspecting its contents. I heard the door, excited Liam brought food.
"Listen, a lot happened while you were gone. I don't even know where to begin. Lexi was here and I'll get to that in a minute, but she made fun of my tattoo. To me, it's the most special thing I have with Harry and she just laughed at it. I look at it when I miss him. It's just amazing to think he also has one on the same spot. And they match! It was also my first tattoo. I still remember Harry convincing me to do it. And it wasn't even that long ago, we were in-" I stopped talking, my mind going faster than my mouth.
I stood out from behind the fridge door to look at Liam. This is exactly what we needed to prove it wasn't us. I could finally show Harry it wasn't me.
But Liam wasn't the person standing in the kitchen with me blabbering about my tattoo.
"Surprise?" He tried, holding up his palms.

A blurry Harry walked over to me, wiping my eyes before lifting me up in his arms. No words were exchanged, we just needed to be in each other's embrace. I held his face between my hands before kissing him. He set me down a while after.
"Hi baby." He whispered, tucking a piece of my hair behind my ear.
"Hi. I thought you were Liam." I laughed.
"Oh, trust me. I noticed." He chuckled.
He looked into my eyes. We were both nervous. After our last conversation if felt like we were out of place.
"Anyway, I came back a little early because I realized something. I won't give up on you so easily. Countless times I've been accused of cheating on you and you didn't believe a word they said because you trust me. And I feel like I haven't done the same with you. I want you to know that I trust you just as much as you trust in me and I won't ever doubt you. I'm so in love with you and I hope I didn't ruin anything between us. I love you so much more than words can express. Please forgive me." He said, getting closer.
"You know, I have proof now. I can show you that it wasn't me." I half-smiled.
"I don't need proof. I know it wasn't you. So what do you say?"
He got even closer. I could practically feel his lips on mine. I closed the tiny gap between us, accepting his apology.
The door opened and we pulled away to see Liam carrying bags of food.
"Hey, Harry! I see you two have made up. I'm really glad. Any news?" He smiled.
I told him everything that happened.
"But she got away with it. Like always." I explained, defeated.
"Or not." Harry smirked.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Liam asked.
"It means we have cameras in this house for security reasons. It was Mike's idea. And the cameras have microphones. We can expose her once and for all." Harry grinned.
"Mike? Do you think he was trying to help us? Even back then?" I wondered.
"Maybe. Maybe he was helping us all along." Harry considered.
"Well I guess we can say that this is over. We give the news the tape and they can do the rest." Liam concluded.
I sighed, something not feeling right.
"I know she put us through hell, but should we be as evil as her and do this?"
"Yes! I have no doubt about this. Y/N, she's been doing this to you since you were friends. She was never nice to you. She always wanted what you had. She was obviously jealous. And she was probably trying to convince herself that she was better than you by doing this. I've seen you break down so many times since she's in your life. You deserve to put an end to it." Liam fought back.
Maybe he was right, maybe it was time to let everyone know who she really was and let go of it all, start from scratch.
Lexi had never been my friend, even though I thought she was. She had hurt me so much and it was my turn to be in control. I looked over at Harry, who had been quiet since my doubts surfaced. He was staring right back at me. I said nothing, waiting to hear his opinion.
"I think whatever you choose will be correct. You were the one Lexi wanted to torture, so I see fit to do whatever you decide. And I've got to say I admire your forgiveness." Harry spoke.
