"You know, we could be at a nice restaurant right now." Harry said to me, as we sat down to eat.
"I really can't, Harry. I'm sorry. I'll make it up to you." I promised, my hand landing on top of his.
"OK. Let me take you out for lunch tomorrow." He smiled.
"Fine. And we'll be able to show off our tattoos too!" I exclaimed. We ate hurriedly because we wanted to get to the arena as soon as possible. As we lay on the couch, before getting ready to leave, I thought of something.
"Hey, Haz. Is there a way of finding out if Lexi was planning on going to the last show in Sheffield?" I asked.
"You mean if she bought a ticket? Maybe. They count how many people actually went." He shrugged.
"Do you think we could try? Something felt totally off that last show. Like she knew I was gonna be there, waiting." I suspected.
"Let's give them a call." Harry suggested.
He walked to our room and I followed. He sat on his side, searching through his contacts. I laid on my stomach beside him.
"Hello. My name is Harry Styles, we had a show recently there. Thanks. I would like to know if you could tell me how many people attended the show. Yeah, the last one. Alright, thank you." Harry spoke.
"We have to wait a moment." He said to me.
We waited in silence. Maybe because having that answer would mean being a step closer to Lexi's plan.
"Yes, ma'am. I'm right here. Wow, all but two people? That's great! Is there a way of knowing who they are?" Harry eyed me as he listened.
"You see, the boys and I are planning on reaching out to them. We're sad they couldn't make it. I know, I understand. But it would hurt me so much to not be able to make them happy. If they got the tickets, it was for a reason. And I'm upset they couldn't go. They at least deserve that. A hello from us. Thanks for understanding. Alright. Both tickets in the name of Hannah Ackerman. Alright, thank you. Oh and one more thing: can you check if a Lexi Fausse bought a ticket? She did? VIP. And she did make it? Oh. Okay. Thank you so much for putting up with me. I'll make sure to thank you in person the next time I'm in Sheffield. Thank you. Goodbye." Harry sighed.
"She had two VIP tickets. Both of them attended." Harry said.
"That can't be. Where the hell was she when I was there? There has to be some explanation." I was frustrated.
"Someone told her I was going. She hid someplace. The bathrooms, I don't know." I breathed, making the idea clear in my mind.
It would all make sense.
"It's like we're being spied on." Harry said, shaking his head.
"That's it!" I exclaimed.
Harry looked at me, puzzled.
"Harry, think about it. How did they know I was going to be there, waiting for them?"
"Wait, do you think there's a mole?" Harry asked.
"Could be. But I thought they were actually spying on us. Like with a camera." I said thoughtfully.
"Or with a microphone." Harry considered.
Our eyes met as we got to the same conclusion. We ran to the vase where I kept those stupid flowers, but nothing. Harry pulled me to our room.
"There has to be one in that room." Harry whispered.
"Maybe. Maybe they used the flowers as an excuse to bring the microphone in our room. Then they would take it out and put it someplace. We watered the flowers so they knew we would damage the microphone anyway." I thought out loud.
"Keep quiet. We don't know where the mic is now. It could be anywhere." Harry sighed.
I took his hand and led him to the bathroom.
"It won't be here for sure. I think it's around the living room area. That's where we usually talk about everything." I pondered.
"OK. But we do have to pretend we don't know anything. We have to keep doing stuff as we normally do. Because they'll notice something's up. So act normal. We have to find out who Lexi's accomplice is. She had two tickets. Maybe it was that girl that pretended to be you. We've got to be careful about this whole situation." Harry warned.
"Maybe she was a distraction! So we payed attention to her and not Lexi!" I discovered.
"The real question is: what was Lexi doing in the meantime?" Harry thought.
"I don't know. We have to find something out tonight." I told him.
"Yeah. Don't worry about it. Today, we'll go earlier to the arena to talk with the people in charge of the tickets." Harry planned.
"Good idea. Now we should go back to the microphone to not raise suspicion." I suggested.
We went back to the living room and talked about random subjects we would normally talk about. At the arena, I saw Liam. I had to thank him for his advice.
"No problem. You know I'm here for both of you." He replied with a smile. We hugged before Harry cleared his throat.
"You got jealous? Really?" I asked Harry as we walked to the ticket area.
"No. I don't know. Maybe." He sighed.
"Come on, Haz. I wouldn't even consider it." I squeezed his hand, reassuring what I had just said.
Maybe the media was starting to get to him. I couldn't think about the subject any longer because we got to the information desk.
"H-Harry Styles." The woman whispered.
"Hi. Could you please give us a hand?" He smiled.
Who wouldn't fall for him?
"Miss Lexi Fausse, yes. Two tickets. VIP area." She nodded, confirming what we had asked her.
"Looks like you're gonna be guarding that area again." He chuckled as we walked back to his dressing room.
"I'm so ready to end this." I told him, smiling.
