"The Boys Are Back" -High School Musical Cast
Adam could only think of how idiotic Bo was.
His grey eyes flickered to the side mirror, the road in front of them, and then up at Bo who has half his body and rifle through the sunroof of the Hummer. Curses left the lumberjack of a man. Cursing the situation, the soldiers behind them, and the idiotic male laughing as he shoots round after round at the three vehicles gaining behind them.
Bo mumbled an "uh oh" just as he dropped back into the passenger seat, closing the sunroof behind him. Before Adam could ask him what was happening, a Hummer was on each side of the car with the third one tailing behind.
Loud scraping was heard from each car on the side ramming their sides into Adam's. Another curse left him when the car was aggressively shoved to the side, having Adam ram his side into the other Hummer.
"Okay, fuck this," Adam mumbled before yanking the steering wheel to the left, effectively ramming the car into the one on his left. After doing that twice more, the car to his left finally spun and veered off into a ditch.
With a quick glance in the rearview mirror, the car was found with the engine smoking. Adam continued to gain speed with the hummer behind him trying to flank his left, replacing the one that was flown into the ditch.
Adam waited patiently for the car to speed up to his left, quickly looking over to the right to watch as the hummer next to him began to sway a bit, a tell-tale sign that the driver was about to ram his side into Adam's.
And at the last second, Adam slammed on the breaks, tires squealing angrily, and watched as both hummers that were on either side of him, swerved into each other creating a nasty crash. Bo began to cackle followed by a whimper as he placed a hand on his forehead from smashing it on the dashboard when Adam slammed on the breaks.
Adam himself had a small smirk on his face and only gave himself a second to gather himself before pressing on the gas, going around the beat-up vehicles. Bo had put down his widow to flip the bird and laugh loudly.
"Thank the goddess that's over with," Bo said after pulling the window back up.
Not but five minutes into the drive on the highway was Bo already complaining, "How much longer?"
With a long sigh, Adam answered, "If we keep followin' this road for another hour, we can ditch the Hummer and then start to trek by foot the rest of the way to the cabin. So, I'm guessin' three more hours."
It wasn't long until the silence was killing Bo and he started talking again, "Why did you break me out, Mister The-Law-Is-There-For-A-Reason?"
"The Alpha gave me two choices. I didn't like either so I made myself a third one," Adam replied in a bored tone.
"You gonna tell me what happened?"
Adam only spared Bo a glance, finding the blonde already looking at him, "I found out how you were a part of the Colorado pack, how you went to the Alpha for help with Wendy, was denied, and then made rogue. Then how my entire career was just him sendin' me on wild goose chases, the last one bein', runnin' after your dumbass."
Bo shrugged his shoulders, turning to look straight out the window, "Oh, yeah. I knew about that," he says with a light snicker.
Adam's bushy brows furrowed, "You what?"
"I never killed all those men, Bounty Hunter. I only admitted to it because the Alpha offered me some stupid amount of money if I owned up to it. His Beta is some violent drunk and the Alpha didn't want his bestie to get in any trouble."
