"ARE YOU READY?" Jasper asked, leaning his hand against the door of her last period class. Sara jumped slightly at his voice, not anticipating his arrival.

"You fucker! Stop doing that, " she breathed, holding a hand over her heart as she looked at him with wide eyes. He chuckled, walking alongside the girl outside of the hallway. "Sorry, " he replied gently, fixing his black backpack. She sighed, blowing the piece of hair away from your face. "Yes, I'm ready."

They made their way across the parking lot in silence, Sara feeling a bit awkward. She knew it was just for a project, but deep down inside, she felt herself hoping for just a bit more.

"Hell yeah! Sara's back!" a deep, enthusiastic voice filling the air. Sara looked up, locking eyes with the big brawny sibling. She smirked slightly, reaching up to fist bump him. "You'll never shake me," she teased, folding her arms across her chest.

Rosalie looked unamused, simply nodding her head once towards her in acknowledgment. Alice sent her a wave, smiling brightly towards the girl.

Jasper glanced at his siblings, awkwardly placing his hand on the small of Sara's back to lead her over near his motorcycle.

"Don't worry," he said softly, handing her the helmet. "They agreed to leave us alone for our project."

Sara chuckled, pulling the helmet onto her head and sending him a playful glare. "Be nice to your siblings, Jasper."

He rolled his eyes, helping her onto the vehicle before taking a seat himself. "Hold on," he said, starting up the engine and pulling out of the lot.

Unlike this morning when she had been afraid of a motorcycle, she felt alive. The crisp air rushed through her face, her fingers clinging onto the front of Jaspers jacket. Her eyes were open, taking in the surrounding scenery with dazed eyes. Green and grey rushed together, blurring into abstract-like art that just took Sara's breath away. She smiled, the wind air around them rushing against their skin.

She felt free.

15 minutes later, Jasper turned up the road into a beautiful clearing, the trees parting to form a path up a small hill. She turned, taking in the beautiful scenery of nature with awestruck-eyes, leaning her head against the man's back as she watched the trees pass by.

"Oh my god, your house is gorgeous!" She said as they pulled into a gravel road. The house towered over them, the beautiful browns and neutral colors coming together to form a masterpiece of art.

Jasper chuckled lightly, parking the bike near a few other cars in front of the garage. "Thank you," he murmured softly, climbing off the bike and helping Sara take the helmet off. "My mother will be pleased to hear you like it."

At the mention of his mother, she felt a slight wave of anxiety wash through her, quickly making the girl a bit nervous.

It's just a project, she told herself silently, climbing off the vehicle to follow Jasper up the wooden steps to the house.

Watching as Jasper opened the door, she let out a small puff of air, quickly running her fingers through her hair in an attempt to make herself look more presentable. She followed him inside, gasping slightly at the interior design of the beautiful house. Brown wooden floors covered the house, black, grey, and white decor littering the place, the colors mashing together to create a beautiful and comfortable look.

Jasper noticed her gaze and sent her a reassuring smile, his hand moving to rest on the small of her back as he guided her to the kitchen.

"Jasper? Is that you?" a warm, feminine voice rang through the house, the sound feeling friendly and inviting in Sara's ears.
