This was my failed attempt of getting out of writer's block. It ended up with me crying so it failed very badly.

Tws: Just feeling like your not enough for yourself or others. Also grandma shaming granddaughter and slight bullying.

When She was younger, She thought that getting rid of her pimples would make her pretty. She thought people would like her better if she didn't have any flaws. If she had looked like them then maybe she would have more friends.

Even now with her pimples are "gone", she still don't feel pretty. Maybe she was just too fat. Her uncle says that he loves her but that she needs to exercise more.

Their grandma tells her that their cropped shirt makes her look fat. They know that logically they won't know that it hurts because little old Roman is "sensitive", and it doesn't matter what their feeling because other people have it worse.

But they also also don't know how Roman sobs to herself because that really cute dress they like makes them look fat. They don't about the amount of times that she stared the mirror as Roman tried to tuck in their stomach.

They don't know the amount of times Roman tries to convince herself that she's perfect just the way they are even though the voices in the back of her mind sounds a lot like people she knows. The kids who told her that her face is bumpy.

The kids who told them they wouldn't her because she just had to much pimples. Her grandma who told her that she won't a beautiful women, she'll marry a man. Their grandma who told them that maybe they look fat in that shirt.

Their grandma who told her that she should pick up an actual book some time. But why can't they just comprehend though that they really just don't know what's going through her mind when they say stuff like that.
