What is a book shot? Well its something that i made up! It can ether be a book chapter or a preview of the whole book! In this case its the preview with a little teaser to big plot point.
Roman Colton was accused of murder after being the most popular guy in his grade. It's been two years and he's still a huge news topic. Virgil Aurden seems to have a special interest in him and his case. Roman hopes it isn't because he remembers him. All of that and more is important to Roman once his biggest secret is revealed. The only solution in sight is to fake date Virgil.
"You want me to date you?"
"To fake date me."

"Yes."
"Why?"
"Because I'm the best goddamn journalist."
