Bella's POV
Melvin had become a part of me, I knew that I wanted him since the first day I saw him, Beth had told me that Melvin had always had a thing for Joy but my guts told me that she was just being jealous of what we had become, Beth had become my best friend since I arrived to this small city, Joy on the other hand wasn't too social to us she mostly focused on her customers and work maybe that was why they were free with the manger of the resort she worked for. I wasn't an employer at Lakeview but living so close to them made me look like one of them although I liked to spend most of the time with Melvin at their shop whenever he or his sister were around. This particular day he was all alone when I got there, I took the kenpoly chair avoiding the bench and sat near the shops door as if I was the one selling this had become my favorite spot. "Will you come over later?" He asked

He led me straight ahead to his small house it was a smaller version of his parents, I complimented the place as he served me a glass of juice and a piece of frozen cake.
He didn't sit close to me which got me thinking that maybe he invited me for a different reason.
