Dortmund, Germany was my home for one year of my life before moving to England, where I was born and proudly raised. My time in the city was purely for the sake of my study abroad experience. My time in there wasn't expected by any means, I didn't have any friends in there but that changed when I met Christian.

Christian was the final push for me to start watching German football - being a footballer himself - he was always someone my family adored from the day I met him when he still played for the U-19 team of Borussia Dortmund. We were both in a different country and quickly bonded over a cute dog outside of a coffee shop we were both inside.

This leads me to my life nowadays, 2021.

I'm back in England, this time living in London - I've been for four years already - and six months from graduating and stepping fully into the work world. I live only 20 minutes away from Christian which is amazing since I get to drive to his house and annoy him whenever I'm bored and have nothing better do to with my life.

I'm a Liverpool girl, I'm passionate about Liverpool Football Club and the fact we just won the Premier League for the first time last year and it was with Klopp as the manager was happiness beyond explanations to me. We are always attending games when we are in town and my family even owns a cabin to watch it, which is again, amazing.

Living in London I'm surrounded by Arsenal, Tottenham, West Ham and now more than ever, Chelsea supporters, which Christian made his mission to turn me into a supporter of the blue's since he transferred there.

That's not happening.

My dad's side of the family are Chelsea supporters when it comes to the PL and as much as I wanted to join them in it I went to my mom's side of the family, Liverpool. My mom herself doesn't care about football as much so you'll see her attending Chelsea game's and even wearing a jersey to support Christian if she's invited to. I'm never doing that.

I have never attended a game from Chelsea after being over 14 years old, besides Christian's debut or games against Liverpool, other than that I always try to avoid it since I don't want to be the one to tell those footballers that I'm not in any shape or form supporting them, ever.

Today however, I have no choice other than being face to face to those players since Christian begged me to be his plus one to this birthday bash from his teammate Mason Mount and his best friend Declan Rice, they are celebrating in the middle of the week since they both play on the weekends and I couldn't be with less energy to attend it.

I know who they are of course from National Team sake, I'm a supporter, but as far as players for their teams I couldn't care less or know anything about it. But yet, here I am, ready to go somewhere I know no one.

- Pulisic, if you get drunk at this party I'll end you. - I said looking at my best friend before entering the pub that had been closed for the event.

- Don't worry Lottie, I won't. - He said and I nodded although I didn't believe a single word - But let loose, no one will be taking pictures of you in here, even if people know who you are they will be keeping to themselves.

- I hope so and I do get loose, sometimes.

See, being in the public eye isn't all sunshines and rainbows, for me at least. I didn't choose to be in it but I certainly embraced it a little with my instagram, but that's it. You get what I give you, keep the gossip and the cameras away from me.

My dad is a former formula 1 driver, although his career was far from the best, my mom a famous Kart driver who married one of the most respected doctors in the country and of course, all that tags along with the fact that my brother is a famous Formula 1 driver. Dream life some would say.
