Charlotte had arrived back in England the night before and since then she had kept quiet from any time of social media since she didn't want to give away her location.
It would ruin any surprise for Christian and whatever it would come to Mason.
The Dutch had decided she would come and attend the Champions League game of Chelsea against Porto, since it was the one that they played at Stamford Bridge and for that she had the help of Amelia.
She asked Christian for a ticket but not for her, she claimed it was for Amelia and that her best friend was going to pick it up today during lunch time, exactly one hour before the footballer had to meet the others at Cobham to then drive down to Stamford Bridge. Except, she was the one going to get the ticket and while at it, surprise her best friend.
Hence why, she was now standing at the door of his house waiting for him to finally open it.
- He... Lottie? Finally - Christian said as soon as he opened the door and hugged his best friend tightly
- Missed me that much Pulisic? - She raised her eyebrows at him making him roll his eyes at her - I came to colect my ticket, going to support you today. That 5-2 was awful.
- You played me - He chuckled at her seeing her smile from his couch - Tell me about it, everyone felt like shit after it.
- Sorry I wasn't here so we could eat a lot of junk food and forget about it - She said truly meaning it since it was something they often did
- It's alright, I'm glad you were having fun there but I'm even happier you're here now - He hugged his best friend making her smile - And I'm sure Mason will be even happier.
- Pulisic... - She warned him since that was a subject she always cut off whenever talking to him
- I'm not saying anything else, just talk to him today. - He looked seriously at her and she sighed nodding
- I have to get going, still need to go at the office and see how is it going - She smiled at him talking about the office her and her best friend were building for Studio VW.
- I'll see you there - He hugged her one more time seeing her leave and get inside her range rover before leaving the house.
- Christian looks like he just won a billion dollars - Jorginho joked seeing the player enter the bus with a huge smile on his face
- Very funny - He rolled his eyes - Charlotte came back. - He said looking directly at Mason, who also had a few other eyes looking at him now
- When? - The number 19 asked his teammate
- Last night, but she's coming to today's game. - Christian explained and he nodded - I agreed with her to meet up at her apartment after the game, you're welcome. - The American said and Mason looked confused at him
