Saturday, 8 June 2024.
French Riviera, France.
Wedding planning had been stressful but nothing compared to the anxiety that surrounded Charlotte and Mason that day. Nothing.
They had each other to blame for it, why did they accepted Declan's and Amelia's orders to not see each other since the day before? They didn't know, but right now they were regretting it majorly.
The date of the wedding was the easiest thing to decide. It needed to be after the birth of their child - Charlotte would not be walking down the aisle pregnant - and it had to be during summer break since it was a longer period where Mason didn't have games and they could actually enjoy a honeymoon after.
Keeping in mind that it needed to be in a weekend free of Formula 1, the couple had found the perfect date, 8th June 2024.
The location was the harder one for sure, they didn't want to have their marriage celebration in the city of London, both agreed that a location where summer could be felt and seen would be perfect and luckily their wedding planner found the perfect one for the couple, Villa Amelie at the French Riviera.
The Villa was rented out by the two completely and it fitted not only themselves but also all of their families and closest friends, having the capacity of 30 guests in it. The beautiful view of the incredible green area around it was the selling point for the couple, they wanted that scenario to their wedding.
But with how large the Villa were it was also unlucky for them, after all, their friends had been able to separate the couple and now they were stuck freaking out. Even their friends were starting to regret their decision, but traditions are traditions.
- I can't believe you guys actually did this - Mason complained annoyed at their friends who were around him - It wouldn't hurt to let us see each other or at least text, you know we have a child, right?
- Cut the drama, if something urgent happened you would be notified, plus you'll have your baby soon here so we can have our cuteness of the day - Ben smiled thinking of the baby they were all spoiling
- If it's any comfort she's freaking out and hating it as much as you - Christian said remembering all the complaining his best friend had done to him. He really kept an eye on the two of them, it wouldn't surprise him if one of them found a way to sneak into the other's area.
- Oh my god, you look so beautiful - Sophie, Lottie's mom said trying to hold back the tears, she had to go back outside to talk to guests and she couldn't afford to have to re-do her make up
- Thanks mom - She smiled looking at herself in the mirror.
It was almost exacts six months after she had given birth and the dress had been through a lot of changes until she was in the body she was in today and she was glad the beautiful white dress was fitting like a glove.
