Charlotte sat inside her brother's yacht while her friends were in the outside area sunbathing and swimming but all the Dutch was focused now was watching the England game, somehow she still wanted to support Mason even though she felt stupid doing so.
- I knew I would find you here - Amelia said looking at her best friend staring down at her phone receiving a sheepish smile - How's the score?
- 2 - 0 for England - She smiled slightly - But is ending in two minutes, so I guess I can turn it off.
- The answer I wanted, come on, we're jet skiing - Amelia took her best friend hand and took her outside to be met by the others.
It was fun to see the environment, it was not always that the drivers would reunite and hang out all together, whenever she would hang out with them was mostly individually but she quite enjoyed those few moments.
She was having the time of her life in Monaco, she was able to forget a lot of the thoughts that were running through her mind for the past week and it was quite enjoyable. Her apartment was the first thing to distract her, for the first day in the city she made her mission to make it presentable again and she succeeded after a long day of cleaning which had the help of her girl friends, including Kelly, her sister in law.
The blonde had gotten an answer from Mason after her congratulations, more than a simple thank you and it took every single bit of pride in her body for her to not call him immediately back. The footballer didn't simply say a thank you back, he also included the fact he missed her and wanted to talk to her because he knew a few things that didn't sit right with him, however, he would not pressure the Dutch and whenever she felt ready, he would be there to talk with her.
Christian was the one who got the call instead, he didn't let a lot of things escape because he felt like it was something she needed to hear from Mason but he did tell her he didn't lie about it, which only made her want to go home more. But the remaining of her pride didn't allow her to do so.
Friday, 2nd April 2021.
The group had agreed to whatever Daniel Ricciardo had in mind and coming from him they knew it wouldn't be something simple. They were right.
- Why do we have nerf guns? - Lando asked after they entered the airbnb his teammate had rented for the night
- Because it's one of the many games we're playing tonight - He opened one of his signature smiles making the rest of the room groan but laugh at his stupidity
- I guess it won't be that bad - Pierre said grabbing his and being followed by the rest of the group
