Today was the day I was going out for dinner with Mason and it was also one of the most stressful days I had at work. God knows I want to graduate and get out of that place.

Mason spent the entire day dodging any questions I had about where we were going and it was driving me crazy, I like to know what I'm doing in advance but all I got was that I didn't need to dress up fancy, which I was glad since he had remembered how I complained that during week days I was usually dead tired and just because today was Friday it didn't change shit.

I literally dressed up in a pair of jeans and a hoodie that was comfortable and called it a day when it came to my outfit and to be honest I didn't go far with the makeup or the hair making everything super simple. Let's just say today was not a day I felt like getting ready, at all.

Mason arrived a few minutes after I was done and so I left to meet him inside his car since it was fucking freezing, definitely didn't get myself warm enough but it was too late since going back inside for a coat was a no go for me.

- Hey - I said entering his car with him pulling me into a hug

- Hey, I guess we matched - He said pointing at our outfits which were quite similar in deed - You look tired - He pointed out concerned but started driving

- Let's just say my boss is a dick - I complained and he laughed nodding since I had complained before - So, can I know where we're going now?

- A place you have been saying you want to go really badly

- I hate you - I shot back since I couldn't think of anything else to say

- I really think you're going to enjoy - He smiled placing his left hand in mi tight and squeezing it quickly but keeping it there

Soon enough we were entering a few streets that I recognized as close to Covent Garden which made me even more confused

- Let's go - He took my hand after we left the car and I looked at him and our hands - No one is going to recognize us here we have the hood on - He smiled reassuring and I nodded agreeing letting me guide me and soon enough I saw Shake Shack, the burger place I've been dying to go to for the last weeks

- You didn't - I said excitingly looking at his face and he smiled kissing my cheek

- Let's fulfill your desire - He said pulling me inside and to the counter to order our food

- Can't believe you did this - I said smiling eating the French fries

- I thought about ordering to the house but it wouldn't be the full experience - He shrugged and I smiled at him before focusing back in my food

- Come on - He pulled me out of his car and I noticed we were now at the Hyde Park - I'm bored and it's late, no one will see us here as well - He smiled holding my hand back in his

- When is your next game? - I asked him since I genuinely didn't know when it was

- Sunday, you should come - He looked at me hopefully and I dropped my head on his shoulders thinking while we walked around

- Maybe I'll - I decided to agree on it - Christian would like it too... I mean, if he's playing

- Hope he will - Mason said and I smiled seeing him pull me close to him and place a kiss on my lips and I could sense his smile against my lips

- By the way, Max wants you to come to Monaco sometime - I said and he smiled nodding - I'm not going before summer, so don't get excited

- So I own my brother in law's heart?

- Surprisingly - I joked and he rolled his eyes pulling me into another kiss - You're going to get us in the news if you keep doing this

- Fine - He complained but I laughed while we continued walking around one of the most visited parks in the country and talking about the most random stuff

The issue with all of this is that while we did all the talking and walking all I could think of was about what the hell was Mason Mount doing to me.

this one is a shorter chapter but next week's one is longer so don't worry... hope you guys enjoy!
