- I'm glad we chose pilates today - Ame said while changing sides of the room and I chuckled continuing my exercise before I changed the focus
It was finally Saturday which meant work free and most importantly university free at least for two days, so for that reason Amelia and I decided it would be a good idea to have a day to ourselves or at least the morning, it would really depend on the time we would wake up and considering we had to reschedule our class to the 11 AM one... it shows how's been.
I had a lot of energy, mainly because I felt excited that in a week I would be surrounded by all the emotion that Formula 1 holds, for many is simply a bunch of cars driving around in circles and honestly that pisses the shit out of me but of course for me is much more than this.
For a long time growing up I genuinely thought I would live the rest of my life out of motorsport and I genuinely can see myself doing it with the promos and podcasts/interviews I do about it but definitely no long behind the wheel. I used to race, professionally even, but when Max got the opportunity to step into Formula 3 it was quite clear we had to focus completely on it, it was way too good to let it pass, so I quitted racing and became more of a supporter/spectator/motorsport knowledgeable person people would come to.
I don't regret anything, I know Max still over it, for a while he felt way too guilty about it but we all know that out of the two of us it should be him, he has a talent that is simply undeniable and I'm quite the proud sister. I think maybe that's one of the things that makes people like us so much, we're way too close and we show our pride about each other around like nothing.
Bahrain specifically won't just be my first time since the last race surrounded by the environmental but I'm also being a part of segments with Sky Sports, the team is simply amazing and I love every single second I work alongside them, plus it's always super fun, I may not be a journalist myself but I definitely feel like one when talking about it.
- I'm tired - I said grabbing my water bottle and following my best friend out of the pilates space
- Me too, do you still want to go in the subway?
- Yes, I wanna see Quadrant's outdoor.
- Can't believe Lando is on the subway, man is a genius.
- I know, right? - I said walking the direction my car was parked but passing straight from it toward the subway.
It didn't take long before we were inside and as soon as we stepped into the platform I saw the banner that it was being displayed
- I need a picture - I said taking one to later upload to my story not really caring that it wasn't the perfect size of it
- Ria looks so good - Ame said and I nodded agreeing. When did Ria not look good? - Lunch? - She asked me and I nodded agreeing and going back up to go back onto the street and to my car
