As you unlock the door to your apartment, all you can think about is Spencer, and your encounter together.

What about him makes you so exhilarated? How can he flood your thoughts when you just met him today?

All you can think about is how you want him. How disappointed you are that he turned down your invite for tonight. It's not like there isn't every other day to talk to him again, you two work together. But you still feel disappointed.

And why? He's just a cute, tall guy with nice hair.

Okay, he's also a doctor, and a genius, and incredibly attractive, very hot. Though, this isn't like you. You would never care this much about some guy you just met.

There's just something intriguing about him. You just can't figure it out, not yet.

. . .

You shut your TV off and walk your dinner dishes from earlier to the sink, washing and putting them away. You hate having dishes laying in the sink so you always do them right away. It's a good habit to have—even if it's just because you have too much time on your hands.

You check the clock and decide to start getting ready. You don't have to leave until 7:40, but you still have to shower, do hair and makeup, and figure out what to wear.

Garcia sent you the address for the bar earlier and it's not too far. Everything seems to be around 25-ish minutes from your apartment, which is convenient.

You get out of your work clothes and step in the shower, rinsing off. You wash your body and shave everywhere. Yes, it's just a girl's night, but to be honest, you haven't had any action in over four months.

After the letdown with Spencer, you're longing for that type of interaction, with practically anyone tonight. Simply in order to get out of your head.

There will be a lot of guys at the bar, so it's an option for distraction. Better to be prepared now, in case you get lucky later.

After you dry off, you grab your lotion, putting it all over your body. As you're doing this, you hear your phone buzz, causing you to pause.

Walking over to it, you pick it up and notice a text from an unknown number.

⑦⓪②-⑤⑤⑤-⓪①⓪③: 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭. 𝐃𝐨𝐧'𝐭 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐨 𝐦𝐮𝐜𝐡 𝐟𝐮𝐧, 𝐰𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠...

You didn't give anyone from work but Garcia your number. I mean, it sounds like it could be... Spencer? But how would he have gotten your number?

🅨/🅝: 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫? 𝐈𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮?

⑦⓪②-⑤⑤⑤-⓪①⓪③: 𝐘𝐞𝐬, 𝐢𝐭'𝐬 𝐒𝐩𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫. 𝐈'𝐦 𝐬𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐲, 𝐈 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐛𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐞𝐝.

You smile.

🅨/🅝: 𝐍𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐥𝐞𝐦! :)

With that, you shut your phone off. Although you'd love to keep on texting him, you have to finish getting ready.

Still confused as to how he got your number, you go into your room and start drying your hair. You decide to straighten it this time instead of curling. Doing an eye look and eyeliner, you finish up.
